Hello,

This may or may not be an obvious question, but... are "4K Textures" only important if you are playing the game on a 4K monitor? Is there a difference between 4K resolution and a 4K texture pack? If 4K is not viewable on a 1080p screen, what textures are appropriate for my monitor? I was thinking it would be 2K. I don't want to be spending processing power where it isn't even noticable.

Thanks in advance!

4k texture resolution means the that single texture "image" is 4096 x 4096 pixels.

I don't even have 1080p monitor yet I can clearly see difference between 2K and 4K texture resolution.

I honestly think that 4K textures are crazy, but if your PC can handle it, go for it!

Thank you for the fast response! That is what I figured the textures meant but my friend was being really ignorant about it so I had to ask. Also, I can run it ;)
