DGRJ4Life Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Hello, This may or may not be an obvious question, but... are "4K Textures" only important if you are playing the game on a 4K monitor? Is there a difference between 4K resolution and a 4K texture pack? If 4K is not viewable on a 1080p screen, what textures are appropriate for my monitor? I was thinking it would be 2K. KiCHo666 Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) 4k texture resolution means the that single texture "image" is 4096 x 4096 pixels.I don't even have 1080p monitor yet I can clearly see difference between 2K and 4K texture resolution.I honestly think that 4K textures are crazy, but if your PC can handle it, go for it!
