  1. Eh, the issue is that there's no flight AI like there was in Morrowind. Creatures that do appear like they are flying are actually "standing" on the ground. Another issue is that creature AI requires areas that they can move on to be marked as such and that area is "cut" around objects like rocks, fences and such and creatures/NPCs can never go "over them". There's also no AI for jumping over obstacles or scaling the walls. The movement that is in game is the best it will ever be.
  2. Had the same issue back when I had AMD card, no mods, but the issue went away when I disabled anti aliasing. Make sure AMD isn't forcing AA via its control panel or whatever it's called. It doesn't happen on nVidia cards, as far as I know.
  3. Are you kidding me??? Same issue started happening to me just yesterday. Disabled all mods and it still keeps happening. Never EVER did that happened to me. It literally started happening yesterday without changing anything in game.
  4. I'm not a fan of parallax maps, personally. Effect is usually too subtle and textures gets distorted when looking at low enough angle.
  5. Bullet holes use parallax maps.
  6. I meant that, yeah. You can change it in Nifskope, but there's no change in game.
  7. Sure. Just use specular map as an alpha channel on normal maps.
  8. Look for NiMaterialProperty (it's inside of NiTriShape or NiTriStrip) and inside there's Emit Mult as well as color of emission you can change (by default it's black), just below Specular color (you can't change specular color btw).
  9. There's no such thing in NV, unfortunately.
  10. Slides are bink videos. To have courier wear last armor they had equipped before ending slides would mean making huge amount of videos for all possible armor combinations, not to mention mod added armors. So, it's not gonna happen.
  11. If we stop pussyfooting around, 95% of conspiracy theories and other BS comes from right wingers.
  12. Freedom of speech + Easy access to (mis)information + gullible people = Fertile ground for spreading conspiracy theories.
  13. Placed Impact Object is a new addition to Explosion form in FO3 GECK added by Bethesda when Broken Steel DLC was released. If you don't have it in FO3 GECK then you probably haven't installed the 1.5 update for GECK.
  14. Turning off vSync will uncap your fps, not cap it. Use something like this to actually cap FPS: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/rtss-rivatuner-statistics-server-download.html or if you have nvidia card, you can use nVidia inspector.

    Trump

Democracy is good as long as MY group is winning.
  16. Biden, Democrats, Left wing = Good Trump, Republicans, Right wing = Bad You're welcome. Lock the thread.
  17. That transparent issue is a problem with actor effect shaders and Transparency Multisampling that ruins the dissolve effect of disintegration. I suggest you disable it to see what the disintegration effect is supposed to look like.
  18. Millenia's env map shader won't affect the intensity of reflections on objects. It will just make normal maps have more effect on it (meaning, reflections will "bend" more depending on normal map roughness). What do you mean by "unaltered"? Game uses its default env map shader already.
  19. You could compress image or lower it's resolution in Paint. Anyway, probably the reason head disappears when you put helmet on is because in its form (in GECK) head slot is used. When you open helmet's form in GECK, you'll see a "Biped Object" and list of bunch of different slots that item occupies. Just deselect "head", press OK and save it.
  20. It's a dds format, so you could use Paint.Net, photoshop or GIMP with dds extension. Just put a semi transparent black layer over the mask in one of those apps and export it as DDS.
  21. What you are describing is so called Environment Map (a fake reflection), not specularity (realtime LIGHT ONLY reflections). It actually looks like it should supposed to. Milennia took some pictures while in INDOOR cells and environment shader indoors is less intensive that outdoors. That's how that particular shader works. Not much you can do about it unless you want to edit an environment map MASK of some particular weapon. It usually has _m.dds at the end of the file name. Making it darker will reduce the intensity of the reflections. Hope it helps.
  22. You just select the folder where the sounds you want to play are located.
  23. You could try using NVSE's OnHit. That one won't register more than 1 shotgun pellet per hit.
