outfit mesh from Blender to game having skin texture

Between three sources I have most of outfits except missing a few armors and a bunch of clothes/robes that I can alter the mesh structure through Caliente's Bodyslide and Outfit Studio. After hours and hours of learning and working with Blender, Caliente's NifCleaner and Outfit Studio, I have been able to increase the polygon count in Blender, export it, "clean" the .nif with NifCleaner and open in game and Outfit Studio, my problem: the outfit is made of skin.

I followed the video tutorial: Import .nif with proper settings, delete skeleton, clear parent, increase polygon count, saved UV face layout, created and applied new material (from 0 to 1), added texture (image), mapped to UV, loaded the saved UV face layout (.tga), imported the same .nif again and checked off (import skeleton only + parent selected), exported the .nif with the settings shown.

Then I opened with NifCleaner, selected "clean", opened in Outfit Studio: increased polygon count was there but texture was as skin, also opened in game anyways and results were same.
