Praying *Shrines not included*

Hi community! i have a "minor" request today! (the mod might possibly already be out there, i just can't find it)
In skyrim Religion is quite a big thing. So big in fact. that the player can get various effects by activating shrines around in skyrim. How ever! why should it end there? Why can't a trusty worshiper of Talos not sit down anywhere be it in the wild of in his own home and pray to his god?

What i would like to see is a power for each deity in skyrim that allows the player to do the "pray" animation for x seconds (possibly 10 seconds *NO LOAD SCREEN PLEASE >.<) and then activate the gods buff. Maybe just a lesser version of it so it still pays off praying at a shrine if you find one.

This is a quite simple mod. But i think it can really enhance the immersive experience of worshiping a deity. Just imagine playing as a witch hunter and waking up, eating your food and then sitting down to meditate for a while.

Best regards, Agnon

im with you on this mod idea, it would be a fun feature but the games lore does explain why you must pray at a shrine.

there's no reason why a load screen would even be considered.

I do find myself a big fan of the lore, but i cannot remember where this is stated in the lore :O But i might be wrong ^^ Still say forinstance the ability was connected to an amulet of said god? Like an amulet of talos the player will then use for his/her prayers? the amulets already gives a small buff. SO why not allow them to work as a on-the-go shine? :P

Thanks for the feedback! very much obliged friend :D

well that's the thing, it never directly says you have to. it is a very clever form of writing on the part of creators of the game. the game treats the subject as though you should already know it to some extent because it is effectively the same everywhere in Skyrim. listen to the people when they discuss it, frequently it will be just simple off hand comments.

know for the point, one of the rules of proper prayer are that you have to be on clean holy ground. it cannot be desecrated or a mess otherwise it has to be cleaned and repaired or you cannot receive a blessing... that is why there are multiple shrines in every city and at least one in every town. albeit not always available for player use.
