AdloraHealer
I have for literally months been plagued by a whole host of CTD issues which eventually make my game completely unplayable. I have lost dozens of characters to it. The miserable part about it is, on a brand new save, everything appears to work just fine. It's only after I do some quests, level up a bit, start to devote some time to a playthrough that I begin to crash. And once I start crashing, I crash EVERYWHERE. Waiting, saving, loading, ANYWHERE I come across a loading screen. It seems so random and inexplicable. So this last playthrough I didn't modify my load order at all. Didn't add, change, or remove a thing. After a while, it still began crashing. The only thing I can think of as far as a hypothesis is possibly some scripting conflict somewhere between my mods when a quest script or something starts up. But I cannot test which mods are the culprit, because everything works fine on a brand-new, clean save, before I start to really get into quests and things. So, my stats:My GFX is: GeForce GTX 660MMy CPU is: Intel® Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHzI have 8 GB of RAMI run Windows 7 64 bitI use ENBoost and Sheson's Memory PatchI use Mod Organizer, not NMM, to manage my downloads and load order. If I cannot resolve this I'm gonna eventually quit Skyrim altogether, which makes me very sad, because it was a great game until it wasn't. 5CY7H3
It might be a quest starting script because you have met some requisites that triggered it, besides you have sexlab, that sh17 is a script mess, if you get to any area with lots of npcs recognized by sexlab it will try to change their behaviour to fit your...desires aaaaaaand then crash when the scripts conflict with any other mod that alters NPC behaviour
AdloraHealer
Uninstalling SexLab didn't seem to help.
thomriis
I hate to say this,But you must be doing something wrong. What does your Boss/Loot log say??? Does it mention any conflicts??? Its true that Skyrim will crash more and more often as you progress in the game, More and more scripts will be added to your saves and especially if youre running a lot of mods. If your game crashes constantly at the beginning it almost smells like mod conflicts, Always be patient at the beginning when you mod your game, Take your time to read the authors description on Conflicts/Compability, Dont just add a mod if it looks cool and you already have 2-3 other mods that Does/edit the same things. make sure your mods are compatible.make sure theyre patched.Make sure theyre sorted with the latest version of Loot.Make sure theyre cleaned with tes5edit (Clean the update+ the dlcs Dawnguard,Hearthfire;Dragonborn)Make sure to refer to your boss-log before cleaning other mods (Some are dependant on dirty edits to work properly) Maybe you should even do a reinstall of Skyrim, Ive heard that even clean saves have problems with scripts. Hope you will get an enjoyable game very soon. Thanks to all these great modders Skyrim have actually become quite a stable game.
vlaka
your load order looks a bit all over the place. LOOT's order isn't 100% and you'll always need to readjust things.Have a look at your mod list and decide which ones are actually required and which are just there taking up space and doing nothing but messing with your game.I'd also have a look at grabbing WAFR (as recommended on the PerMa page) and patch accordingly. AlexZander40
Ah man that is harsh. Is your game pushing the startup memory past 500mb blocks? I had to adjust the .ini file for startup memory because frequently I am in the 500s and even sometimes push 600s and 700s in heavy NPC areas. Just checked my memory log on my last play the other day. It is at 628mb. If that does not work, it might be time to try a 100% fresh install, then only install a few mods at a time. Stress testing each time along the way. And leave out any mods that you might suspect be conflicting. Only install your absolute must haves. Only tweak an .ini file if a mod requires it.
