  1. I have never tried that version of the mod. I use the Populated Reborn series and have not had CTD issues related to joining the Imperials. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73186
  2. Do you have any manual saves you can revert back to? I never use Autosave or Quicksave.
  3. I highly recommend Unique Landscapes. I can't play Oblivion without it. Adds much needed variety to the game world landscape. Unique Landscapes and Better Cities requires some patch plugins. Sutch Village Lost Coast has a patch. You can download https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13834?tab=files the Unique Landscapes compilation file and check against the mods in your list.
  4. This worked for me. Just had to also change some install paths for Mod Organizer 2 and the executables that I have installed for MO2. Now I can use Construction Set Extender. I have my Steam folder and Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas outside of Program Files, but last year when I was getting my disc versions of Morrowind and Oblivion reinstalled and modded up, I put Bethesda Softworks folder in Program Files. Not sure why I did that?? Next, will have to see about moving the Morrowind folder out of Program Files.
  5. I installed Firemoth Expanded and so far the mod is working nicely. When I place a container in the Main Hall, all is good in the Main Hall. I save the plugin and get it back in previous spot in the load order. Load up the game and go to the Master Chambers, this is where my issue comes up. A book shelf, the bed and a chest of drawers have disappeared. When working with the plugin I am only adding a container to the Main Hall, I did not mod the Master Chambers or even bring it up in the Construction Set. When I reload the plugin in the CS, those missing furniture pieces are showing as being there. Why or how would a few furniture pieces go missing from the Master Chambers when loading up a save game. Edit: Okay I tried loading up my personal modding plugin with Firemoth Expanded, setting my mod as Active. Placed the container, saved and loaded up the game. My container is there in the Main Hall and none of the furniture is missing in the Master Chambers. So I will use this work around for now.
  6. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim in the vanilla state all have major issues that would prevent me from playing them in a pure vanilla state. But I thank the Elder Scroll divines for the amazing modding community. With utilities, patches, code fix and mods for all of these games are among my favorite to play. I even play Daggerfall with fixes installed. To be able to customize my game with mods and fix issues with patches and utilities is gaming goodness for me. Sure there are learning curves and pains to modding these games, but it is worth my time and effort to mod these games. And being a fan and collector of classic arcade video game cabinets and pinball machines from decades ago, a game's age has no meaning or factor for me on how much I can enjoy it. Actually I am just now reinstalling Morrowind on a Windows 7 system and getting it patched up with Utilities and Mods for another play through. Love the classics.
  7. With Mod Organizer, I have made it a habit that my plugin load order in the right pane matches my install order in the left pane. Especially since I have MO manage archives. This ensures files are loaded in the correct order with their plugins and has helped me eliminate some issues. I only use LOOT as a reference for my load order. Too many times LOOT wants to put mods in an order that does not work for me. Instead I will take a look with TESVEdit and determine what mods I want to win override conflicts. And I would not recommend using Dragon Combat Overhaul if you want to play the Dragonborn DLC. DCO severely glitches the final battle with Miraak to the point you can't properly complete it.
  8. I'm looking forward to the new Vortex mod manager. Something new to try out. I can understand mod manager loyalty. But I like trying different managers. For Oblivion I use a combination of OBMM, Wrye Bash and manual install. For FO3/New Vegas, I use FOMM, Bash and manual. For Skyrim, I have been using Mod Manager and enjoy it very much. Even with the the virtual file system and keeping the data folder clean, I still go into the Mod Organizer\mods\ folder and mess around with mods manually. Though most things can be done through the interface, I still like to see what's going manually. Can't help myself. I still haven't modded up and played Fallout 4 yet. So I believe that will be the game I will try Vortex with. As with the other mod managers, through tutorials and trial & error and use, I'm sure it will be no problem getting a heavily modded working game to play great. Then there will be gaming goodness indeed!
  9. I am also very grateful and would like to say thank you to Michael and the GamerPoets Youtube channel. When I was switching to Mod Organizer for a fresh install of Skyrim and getting the game modded up again, GamerPoets' Mod Organizer tutorials were immensely helpful. Also, the tutorial on getting DynDOLOD working was excellent, very helpful. And I always look forward to another episode of Paxton and Sawyer. I didn't realize how many hours it took to produce one episode. Appreciate the time and effort that you put into creating the episodes Michael. As far as how much money Youtubers can make. Dave, an electonics engineer that does EEVblog, has a video detailing how much he makes. Quite interesting.
  10. I've been working on tweaking some of my mods and overall the Creation Kit is working just fine. However, let's say I have a Riverwood cell loaded up. Finish modding that cell, then I save. And now I want to load up an Ivarstead cell, the Creation Kit freezes and locks up on me. It does not happen every single time switching between cells, but it happens enough to be irritating. Are there any settings in the editor .ini that could help reduce the lock ups?
  11. I am also having the same issue with both Skyrim and Fallout 4 manual downloads. However, I was able to download the two files through MO and NMM, and then the files showed in the Downloads History and I was able to endorse. 1. Skyrim Superior Rock Textures Fallout 4 Beantown Interiors Project 2. Downloaded Superior Rock Textures on 12/8/16 Main file v1.1 Downloaded Beantown Interiors Project on 12/19/16 Main File v8.9 3. Originally downloaded manually. That is my preferred method of downloading mod files. But then I tried with MO for Skyrim and NMM for FO4, which worked and allowed me to endorse. 4. Used both CDN and North America servers. 5. Firefox Browser latest versions. And also tried Chrome latest version. I'm going to download a couple of mods manually and see if I can endorse. Update: I was able to endorse the two mod files after downloading manually. So I thank you for fixing the problem.
  12. I am also having the same issue with both Skyrim and Fallout 4 manual downloads. The Download history is not showing the files that I've recently downloaded. I choose to download files manually, been doing that for years and Nexus has mostly allowed me to endorse/vote for files. Occasionally I'll have to download a certain file a second time to be able to endorse. December 8th was the last time my Download history shows a 'manual' download that I could endorse. Tried downloading on an up to date Firefox browser. Tried clearing the cache and still can't endorse my recent downloads. Then I tried downloading manually with Chrome and it does not show in the Download history. However, I just tried downloading choosing Download Manager. The files do show in Mod Organizer and Nexus Mod Manager and are showing in the Download history. So it seems to be a problem where manual downloads are not showing in the Download history.
  13. I used SkyRe for previous plays and liked what T3nd0 did with the Perk Trees. Much more variety to build my characters and make them unique. Then when he released Perma, I have that installed and it's been great. I installed the PerMa Defluffing Perks though, as I didn't care for T3nd0's fluffy perk descriptions. Downside though is when you have to rebuild the Patchus Maximus patch. It can take 15-20 minutes on a large mod load. I definitely recommend giving PerMa a try. And watch GamerPoets' or Gopher's Youtube tutorials on getting it properly installed and working. If you haven't tried Skyrim Community Uncapper, I highly recommend that SKSE plugin. Complements SkyRe or PerMa nicely. You can go into the ini file and make custom changes to how your character levels up.
  14. If Merge Plugins Utility gets updated to work with SSE, it will be no problem. Excellent utility that is easy to learn and use. I'm already about 20 or 30 plugins past the 255 on my modded Skyrim. Thanks to Merge Plugins I'm down to 248.
  15. Modding Skyrim for me has always been as important as actually playing the game. That went for Morrowind, Oblivion, FO3 and New Vegas also. For Skyrim I have about 1,900 hours logged. My current heavily modded game, 247 plugins + several of those are Merged, I have 450 hours/ Level 45 played and my game is nice and stable. It's a great feeling getting a stable heavily modded game going on. Currently enjoying playing Solstheim and the Dragonborn DLC. Most important for me is always keeping a handful of saves backed up, just in case I need to roll back to a previous save. Because even with a stable mod load, and not changing any mods, saves can become corrupted. And a game will not load no matter what on that corrupted save. So I roll back and I'm good to go. And I don't like to rely on BOSS or LOOT for an end all, be all of how my plugins are sorted. I use them as a base, and then move some plugins around as needed to get them working properly. I now use meh321's Crash Fixes skse plugin, mainly for the UseOSAllocators=1. That setting has drastically improved load times on saves and interior/exterior transitions. Also, switching to Mod Organizer for this modding playthrough has been great. Hopefully Tannin working with Nexus will result in another excellent Mod Manager. I still have some mod content to play, such as Wyrmstooth and Forgotten City. Played quite a bit of Forgotten City, but did not finish it. I enjoyed it, so I will definitely go back and complete it's main quest. It's just an amazing modding community for these Elder Scrolls and Fallout games!
  16. In response to post #43275040. I was late getting around to using MO for Skyrim. It's been great. You can physically see the files in your Skyrim folder if you installed MO there. It's under a different path though. Mod Organizer>Mods And you can access the files just fine. I manually, and also through MO, mess around with the mod files all the time, can't help myself. I combined and edit files from mods with no problem. Making sure to have backups of course. And you can run Creation Kit, Wrye Bash and TESVEdit through MO just fine.
  17. I've done manual modding, OBMM, FOMM, Wrye Bash modding, NMM modding and Mod Organizer modding. With the help of the modding community and tutorials, I've always managed to get a modded game playing and working great. So far, I would have to say Mod Organizer has been my favorite Mod Manager. Just started using it last year on a fresh intall of Skyrim, and with awesome help of GamerPoets and Gopher on Youtube, it has been relatively hassle free. Though I still go into the Mod Organzier mod files and manually mess around a bit. I think it's great that Tannin42 is going to work with Nexus for the next Nexus Mod Manager release. Since I haven't modded up and played Fallout 4 yet, I look forward to trying out the new NMM upon release for that game. Hopefully, the Profile system that Mod Organizer uses and keeping the Data folder untouched will be implemented. I love that about Mod Organizer.
  18. I might install the Remaster version into a separate folder and check it out since it is free. Maybe mod it up if SKSE, Mod Organizer, etc. get updated for the new version. But I will definitely be keeping my current Skyrim modded install going. I put too much time and effort into getting a stable Skyrim playing nicely. Plus I'm still playing the game on a regular basis. There is still a ton of great mods to check out.
  19. In response to post #31699195. #31709590, #31710865, #31717215, #31727420, #31727725, #31727755, #31735675, #31736475, #31737125, #31745975 are all replies on the same post. Well said. May the modding goodness continue.
  20. Crouching Deathclaw Animation / With ability for the Deathclaw to get to you by moving underneath a doorway. ( Or any large enemy for that matter.) I was hoping that Bethesda would have implemented a new gameplay/battle mechanic that overcomes this by now. I have seen a couple Let's Play videos where the players are battling that first Deathclaw, and they are hiding in the shop area, picking off the Deathclaw. It would be excellent if the Deathclaw would make a crouching animation move and was able to pass under the doorway and get to you. This would force the player to try and find new hiding areas to get away from a larger enemy.

  22. If you are new to adding mods to Skyrim, I highly recommend following some tutorials. Well worth it in my opinion. I like Gopher and Gamer Poets YouTube tutorials. They both have helped me tremendously. https://www.youtube.com/user/gamerpoets/playlists https://www.gophersvids.com/?storyboard_cat=skyrim-tutorials There are also stability guides such as this; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32363/?
  23. Possibly one of your RAM sticks is failing. I was getting some similar CTD and BSOD playing Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity. Thought maybe my 6 year old hard drive was flaking out. So I finally bought a SSD and did fresh install of OS and games. Still ended up getting CTD with Wasteland 2 and POE. So I ended up buying some new sticks of RAM and that fixed the problem.
  24. When you installed SKSE, did you create the skse.ini and enable the memory patch?
  25. On a previous SkyRe/BOSS character at Level 80 with 600+ hours, I had a stable Skyrim game which included cleaning the Update and DLC esm. Played through all the main quests and the majority of side/miscellaneous quests. My current Mod Organizer/PerMa/LOOT mod loadout is playing great and stable, but I am only at level 18 with this character. We'll see what happens when I hit level 30 and higher. I will continue to clean the Update.esm, the Dawnguard.esm, HearthFires.esm and Dragonborn.esm But DO NOT clean Skyrim.esm! And I DO NOT clean the USKP mods. And there are some mods where the Mod Author says DO NOT clean their plugin, so I leave those alone. Credible sources/tutorials for cleaning these; Official STEP video tutorial STEP written for Update.esm STEP written for Dawnguard.esm STEP written for Dragonborn.esm STEP written for HearthFires.esm Gopher's tutorial for cleaning with TESV Edit You will have to decide on whether to clean the Update or DLC. There are many gamers that say do not clean them and many gamers that say to clean them. Please post your skse.ini Do you have the startup memory patch enabled? This is where Memory Blocks log comes in handy. it will let you know how many blocks you are using. A heavy modded Skyrim will easily exceed the default memory allocation. Before Sheson developed the Startup Memory Allocation Patch, heavy load orders were pretty close to impossible to keep stable.
