KaelVirum
Ok guys, I need your help. I have both Blender and Nifskope and enough knowledge to be able to create my own models. If I were to do such a thing, how would I then get those models, with animations, into Skyrim? My internet isn't the greatest so I would prefer no youtube videos, though, if that would be the only way to get me the info I suppose I'll make do. KaelVirum
That would be useful for making weapons but I was looking for something that would allow me to create creatures, animate them and get them into the game with their animations intact. steelfeathers
Creating new creauture meshes for existing skeletons and animations is relatively easy. Creating brand new animations for a brand new creature with its own behavoir file...that's an extreme level of difficulty. About a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. In fact, I've only ever seen one modder manage it - the guy who created those animated dragon wings. If you are really invested in doing this, I'd send him a PM directly asking for advice. I think he also has a tool for creating behavoir files that he uploaded to th nexus, but you pretty much already have to be an expert to use it.
