Are graphics enhanced when you take a screenshot?

I've been noticing everyone's screenshots seem to have perfect or near perfect edges on the characters, Same thing happens when I save a screenshot of my own in Skyrim even though in game choppy edges are clearly there. Does everyone downscale their resolution from a much higher one for screenshots or does my GTX 680 have some explaining to do? lol I can't figure it out. Furthermore if there is some kind of auto enhancement being done for the screenshots, is there anyway to get that kinda edge quality in game?(not just for DAI but all games if applicable)

Actually the screenshots taken via "Print Screen" key are in PNG raw format. Versus using "F12" key which saves as JPG. The "PNG" quality is determined by your systems graphics ability. I run on 3 different systems with 3 different graphics cards and can clearly see a difference in "PNG" quality on each system. Whereas the "JPG" images all look about the same on each system. This is because "F12" takes screenshot from games graphic process and "Print screen" takes from graphics card settings. At least on my end, that's the case. I run DAI through "Origin" client and TES Skyrim through "Steam" client". This is why I always use "PNG" format for screenshots then downscale as needed using Photoshop, which, usually, gives higher quality "JPG" images.
