Keerla
You know what I really hate? Learning things the hard way. Specifically learning that ENBs are harder than I thought they'd be. I've tried RealLike ENB, I Can't Believe It's Not ENB, and Rudy ENB; I've installed them properly (I hope), looking thoroughly through videos and instructions to match it as well as I could, but I've reached a problem. Once installed, I open Skyrim, the first menu (the one with Data Files and such listed on it) pops up momentarily, before it freezes, greys out, and I receive a notification that there has been a problem with running Skyrim; I'll have no choice but to exit out. I know that it's due to the ENBs. I have a theory that the d3d9.dll is the source of the problem; once I delete that file, I can run Skyrim again, without any issues. I have Windows 7, the latest version of Directx FOR WINDOWS 7--not 8, 9, or 10. Should I update my computer to Windows 10 and update DirectX? Is the problem related to something else? Or am I merely overlooking something and should try to reinstall one again? Many thanks! Edited November 24, 2015 by Keerla
Kalibaouche
I strongly advise you to restart steam in offline mod. Learnt it the hard way too. I have Windows 7 too.D3d9.dll is essential to make ENB work. Edited November 24, 2015 by Kalibaouche

Keerla
So, I've almost solved the problem. I reinstalled the newest version of Directx10, and I discovered my computer requires the Injector versions. When I start the injector and begin Skyrim with skse_loader.exe, I can now see the ENB's settings. However, I've now reached another problem; apparently, starting SKSE seperate from Mod Organizer runs the vanilla game, which means I now cannot view any of my mods. I usually start Skyrim via the SKSE tool from WITHIN Mod Organizer, but, when I do that, the ENB will now not run. It will not show up in the loading screen, but I am able to use my mods. It's very odd, how it's separated. I'm not sure how that managed to happen. Please help!
ironbender800
Is everything installed correctly. SKSE and ENB SKSE and all other utilities have to be run from within MO as executables. The SKSE scripts needed to be added as an archive into MO for SKSE to function properly. The enb files get installed into the skyrim directory.
