  1. SKSE will need to be updated which cant happen until modders get their hands on the game. SKU UI as far as i know will NOT be updated which means mods with MCM menus wont work. Basically your best bet is to stick with the current skyrim for probaly months after release to wait for the modders to update everything and catch up. Thats what i will do anyways.
  2. There are sooo many ENB presets out there its almost impossible to tell someone what to use. Depends on what weather and lighting mods you want. Your hardware. Your visual preferences. ETC. Your best bet is to just test some out and see what you like. The 670 is a decent card but you may run into some performance issues.
  3. The game crashes at startup? I am not really a fan of that guide personally. He just slapped a ton of texture/graphics mods together and called it a guide. Also SSME is outdated and not needed with crash fixes. Did you install crash fixes correctly with the preloader? https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/troubleshooting_guide
  4. Try not to run a ton of script heavy mods. Post your entire mod list. Does this happen on a new game? I had the boy in riverwood freeze on me once. He would talk to me but was otherwise completely frozen. Stood there 24 hours a day and also took no damage nor would i get a bounty for attacking him. Skyrim has a string limit for scripts and just generally running too many at once can cause issues. You also need to make sure everything is compatible.
  5. Use Modwatch to post your mod list or use spoiler tags. And just simply type out your system specs. Nobody wants to download random files to help you. Having a strong computer doesnt mean you can just slap a ton of mods together and the game is going to work. You need to follow intelligent modding practices. Ever since i started following STEP guidelines my game rarely crashes. I get excellent stutter free performance. And it looks great. Follow STEP or some of the other good guides out there.
  6. Realistic water two + ENB textures (if using ENB) I havent had underwater issues in a long time.
  7. I use a 970 with ENB and numerous textures and cap my fps to 55. My game rarely drops below it except when looking at intensive scenes. its locked at 55 90% of the time. If you use all the tools and resources available and mod correctly you wont have issues.
  8. Yes it can. 380 will do significantly better. DynDOLOD can be demanding on memory. Much more LOD is loaded at once. Its similar to playing with very high ugrids. Optimize your textures. use tony g optimized vanilla textures. Stick with 2k at most texture mods. Also stick with the best authors as they already have their textures optimized and have very good work. anything by amidian, gamwich, halkhagen, noble skyrim, heinz with vivid landscapes. Use ENBoost.
  9. If you want an easy game just stick with vanilla gameplay. Only use graphics/UI mods. The base game is very easy. My level 40 mage destroyed everything almost effortlessly. Most of those mods are designed to make the game feel more "static" by making certain areas high level and some low level. Similar to a deleveled world like Requiem but these arent deleveling mods. Makes zero sense to use mods like these if you want an easy game. Vanilla skyrim is very very easy.
  10. I dont use COT anymore (vivid weathers is better) but in the installer it has options for night and interior brightness. Vivid weathers has an in game MCM that allows you to adjust it in game as well as saturation.
  11. I actually recommend going premium not just to support nexus but because it gives me literally like 6 times faster DL speeds. and its only a few bucks. for 3-4 dollars its more than worth it.
  12. If you are already using NMM just stick with it. In order to switch over to MO its best to start from scratch. Meaning completely deleting everything and reinstalling. If you ever do decide to do that tho....MO is where its at. Watch GamerPoets on YouTube for great tutorial videos on everything modding skyrim.
  13. I am a big SRLE and requiem fan also. When people did this in the past i believe CACO wasnt in the setup. Right now thats the biggest issue. You would need to make your own conflict resolution patch. The other things are minor issues that most have patches for already. But NO there is no updated guide for setting requiem up with SRLE. I use the guide but am very selective about what i install.
  14. CTD at startup is usually missing master. If you used MO it would alert you of this. OR you can run your load order through TES5Edit. Darstyler provided you with all the info you need. Up to you to follow it. There is no "standard" number of esps. All depends on personal preferences and mod selection. I run half of that. And my game is very pretty and excellent performance wise. also....when modding your game (GamerPoets also advocates this) TEST TEST TEST after every few mods. Lazy modding always leads to problems and then people coming here or to other places wanting others to fix thier mess.
  15. You arent gonna screw your game up with ENB. If ENB doesnt work out you can just delete the files. Performance wise your system should be just fine. And definitely use MO for installing mods. (ENB and SKSE files tho are still installed to the skyrim directory)
