WILL PAY! for help scripting & finishing a Mod

Hey everyone!

I'm an artist who's working on a mod, and I need help. And I'm ready to pay for it!

The mod's got, uh, limited appeal, i'm kind of afraid: It's Lore-friendly modern philosophy! In Skyrim books (& notes)! Scattered across Skyrim! I basically translated a few short works/excerpts by people like Walter Benjamin & Deleuze into lore-friendliness, so that they're talking about magic instead of technology, and referencing mages who lived in the 2nd Era instead of thinkers in the 17th century. It's kinda dumb, probably.

Anyway, the help I need is rather simple, basically a few papyrus scripts to create a miscellaneous book collection quest. I've got the book making & placement figured out already.

More specifically I need someone who can:

  • script a quest that begins with picking up or reading a book,
  • in which there are multiple other books the player has to find in order to complete the quest, preferably in a specific order, but potentially out of order
  • in which, after a designated time in which the player has not found a new book, a map marker appears designating, IF POSSIBLE, a GENERAL area in which the book can be found (ie, like, the side of a mountain) (this could alternately be triggered by an OnSleepStop instead)
  • and which ends with all books being found.
  • Also: help uploading to Steam &/or nexus!

There are a few extras that would be nice too (say, adding a note to be harvested like an ingredient from a mammoth cheese sack), but the above is the main thrust of the thing.

THE PAY:

AT LEAST 15$ AN HOUR (some money down, rest on completion)

We can discuss the terms too; it might make more sense for both of us to do this by the bullet point ^ or something.

If you're at all interested, please shoot me a PM with a link or two to a mod(s) you made or helped create. Ideally they'd show that you're capable of the request. Bonus points if you're in the NYC area and are willing to meet in person!

Thanks y'all!

Maurice
