jojy123
I was wondering if there's any way to remove the animation showing the character smithing/alchemising/enchanting, or outright pause the game during this animation for the same effect. I'm using a custom race, of my own design, for a custom worldspace I'm also working on, but due to it's proportions, smithing looks terrible. I've always disliked the real-time crafting, but it's especially annoying when playing a character that can't actually reach all parts of the table/forge, and clips through parts of it. Does something like this exist? Every google attempt just leads to people complaining about the exploitable potions in morrowind, or about making crafting take hours. lofgren
You can block activation of these types of furniture using a perk (refer to werewolf feed perk or vampire feed perk for examples) and instead have your PC activate a remote or disabled piece of furniture. This will cause the crafting menu to open without animation. I don't know any way to outright pause the game during crafting.
jojy123
That should work, thanks! I'm not the best with the Creation Kit, but I should be able to get that working.
