Rain occlusion

Ok after a few more test i have some good news and some bad ones :

The good news : Rain occlusion work perfectly well with only collider no need to do anything else just use chunkmerge as usual and the rain will not fall in your house or shelter.

The bad news: Snow still fall inside of house and it look worst when gush of wind push the snow against a structure.

So it's seem like we are again going to need some sort of shelter mod because snow was not in Bethesda plans, i just can't believe they only did a rain occlusion without fixing the snow!

I will test fog since i forget to test it but my guess is it will be like snow.

Just test fog and it is also working and i also think that snow is working to a certain extent since not all snow was coming in my house but only the snow that were push by wind gush so it might be related to angle or life of particle.

Maybe it can be fix but we first have to locate where the system is located to see if any settings are available.

Some more test and comparison between original nif with new one yield a lot of unknow int so at this stage of nifskope alpha it is hard to know what really change.

Did test all snow conditions and snow do not get in when falling gently in a straight down fashion but the minute you have a slight angle it come right inside the house.

A little update,

I just test some more fog weather and some seem to work partially since you see the fog color on inside wall but not in middle of room.

I will upload a video on Youtube to show all weather type in custom structure(tower).

Weathers can have 2 attached FX: precipitation and visual effect. The first one is occluded, the second one is just an FX attached to camera and not occluded. This includes the gusts of wind and some snow flakes. Rains mostly use precipitation mesh only that's they "work".
