Nifskope 2.0 beta and normals

Is the new Nifskope spell to update the tangents also flipping our normals in the meshes? Everything I am converting is now very very bright. It is very difficult to find current documentation on this because of how new everything is but I figure another modder will have an answer :)

Bright in game, or just in nifskope? I've notice that when I apply a normal, i can actually see the changes in nifskope now, and that it does indeed get brighter. In-game, though, the ones I've done look the same as they always do. (Applying vanilla normals to simple meshes. I haven't messed with custom normals for SSE.

Ah okay excellent. I thought I was going bananas over here. The interesting thing about all these changes is that my nifs with all the "updated tangents" are looking awkward and I have to remake them in Max3DS. Makes me wonder how I missed these imperfections the first time around.
