PeterMartyr
Well the good news is unless your a Papyrus Coder type Modder you don't need to know it pointless. Refresh your ini's by Deleting the ones at C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim or whatever your Game Save directory is? Then using the Steam Launcher to generate new ones. It in skyrim.ini found there, not in Game Steam Folder. [Papyrus] bEnableLogging=1 bEnableProfiling=0 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=0 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000 Hope I covered all the bases. RS13
For all ini edits: 1. Do I really REALLY need to do this? Ini edits with skyrim are a bad idea like 90% of the time and I'm including papyrus logging in that. I have never ever seen anyone find help by posting there log and leaving it on will drain performance.2. If you really really have to, just add the missing section. Lonspire
I tried adding the missing section and I got a message about sky ui not going to work properly but let me try again
cdcooley
If you got errors from SkyUI then you were trying to add completely invalid settings. There are lots of old guides about "optimizing" the game that were completely wrong and people keep passing along that bad information. Changing Papyrus settings will not increase game performance. The Papyrus settings exist to keep the scripting part of the game from stealing too many resources from the other parts of the game. If you remove those limits you probably won't encounter problems immediately but eventually you'll have all sorts of strange, unexplained errors.
