New Mod Announcement - Spells of Force

Hello. Just wanted to announce a new mod I created and uploaded to tesnexus.

 

It's called Spells of Force, and adds 20+ spells to the game, all with a new Force Effect, in varying magnitudes, areas, and with other spell effects like shock, fire, paralyze and more. However, these powers do not come without a price...

You have to kill the 3 mages who guard these spells first, which is no easy feat.

 

I enjoy creating challenges... I always found that after playing Oblivion and getting a character to level 30 or so the game got really easy; there is little that can kill you then. So I create enemy NPCs and design them to be incredibly challenging opponents.

 

I had a lot of fun creating it and testing it.

The spells use a script that takes advantage of the "pushactoraway" command. Basically, it is as follows:

where x is the amount of "force" applied.
The script uses Alteration as its magic school, with the "Turn Undead" visual and sound effect.
A few of the spells just apply the script, but most are paired with another spell effect from the vanilla game, so there's a force-ice spell, force-shock spell, force healing (It heals the player), and so on. Some of the spells are on touch, some targeted, and they may have affect an area rather than one target at a time.
Certain spells are also higher or lower in difficulty, from Novice to Master. I tried to make the spells fairly balanced.
There are a couple incredibly powerful ones that can only be used once a day.
That's about all I can say, really.
