Will Skyrim SE ever support Tessellation?

since Skyrim SE is a dx11 game the first thing that came to my mind was tessellation, and I didnt expect a remake to have new models. but will modders be able to make use of it?

I have noticed that not even fallout 4 uses tessellation, does it even work with the creation engine?

DX11 doesn't mean tessellation will be supported. The engine has to support the rendering as well. The Creation Engine, which is still an in-house derivation of Gamebyro, doesn't support tessellation (it only support parallax, but through API rendering only).

well its a dx11 engine

While it can use DX11, the Creation Engine is built on really old tech, and it shows it. Bethesda is currently building a new engine though, at least that is what most are assuming. I really hope it is a truly modern engine, and not just a heavily modified Creation Engine. Of course there are some people that are literally hoping they keep this trash engine because they are worried a different engine would ruin their mods. I can't believe those people.
