  1. It doesn't load your mods because the Virtual File System. None of the mods are in your Data folder when you launch without Mod Organizer. Perhaps you could try launching Mod Organizer itself through Steam, and then proceed from there.
  2. Not all games are supported by Vortex (or any mod manager for that matter). This looks like the sort of game where you will need to do everything yourself.
  3. Maybe this link will help: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/121363-mod-support-on-epic-games/ It appears that the Epic games store version has a different version number than the Steam copy, which creates some complications. Likely because of how it's more uniformly bundled vs Steam. I'm currently installing the game right now to see if I can get it to work. Will be trying later tonight. Edit: I tried it and couldn't get it to work. According to other users on the mods comment section, the Epic Game Store's different game version makes it incompatible. The mod author also says in the description that non-steam copies are not supported - as the mod doesn't work with those. It apparently does work with the version distributed through Amazon Primes game service - but those are setup exactly the same as the Steam versions as far as I can tell.
  4. The Epic Games Store version is DRM free and uses a normal file structure, so it should mod the same way as any other version.
  5. If memory serves me right, that mod can break precombines. Essentially anything that modifies a cell can break precombines. I play Fallout 4 in excess of 80fps a lot of the time - but in Boston can get lurches into the teens. I often toggle on god mode while in Downtown Boston as fighting in there can be impossible at times. Mods that break precombines plus Bethesda's sloppy optimization and code makes this game a bit more unstable than it should be.

  7. If you're using mods, there is a good chance one of them broke precombines which tanks FPS in this game.
  8. I think you need to add the bodyslide data to the unique player files.
  9. While I don't know for certain, there is a decent chance it was deleted for the same reason why tons of other mods have disappeared lately, and that's because of Nexus' embarrassing announcement of Collections and file deletion/ownership.
  10. Maybe this will help you out. More Armor Slots: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/745/
  11. Unique Player is the mod you're looking for. I think you need to use both of these, but I've never used it so I'm not 100% sure. Unique Player: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3718 Unique Player Bods: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6944
  12. I'm fairly certain you're referring to Skyrim Special Edition based on the information you've provided. Make sure you have all the mods you need in order to get those mods to work. The mods/files you need installed based solely on the info you've provided. 1. SKSE64 2. RaceMenu 3. XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Edition Extended (XPMSSE) 4. Fores New Idles in Skyrim 5. Dynamic Animation Replacer 6. Address Library for SKSE Plugins These will need to be installed properly to function.
  13. 7z is a very good and trustworthy program, there is no logical reason why you shouldn't have it installed on your system. Especially if you want to continue modding your games as a hobby.
  14. It only works with U8.3, which means newer versions of the game are incompatible. That's what I was able to understand by reading the pinned posts and the comments on the mod anyway.
  15. I'm pretty sure CBBE is available on Xbox, as is the Seraphine body, and both of those are far better than the Busty mod for Fallout 4.
  16. Wow that Star Wars stuff certainly seems more basic then you let on this post, kudos for sure, looks really cool. Makes me feel inspired to stop being lazy and do stuff with the Creation Kit.
  17. I hope you didn't create a second account just to post this.
  18. What happened very likely had nothing to do with your mods, and everything to do with other things on your PC you're presently unaware of.
  19. I think the Institute replaces people because they're afraid of whats on the surface. They're worried how much people will find out about the Institute and their Synths, so they replace people to have eyes and ears everywhere. It also allows them to find Railroad operatives and supporters easier as well, as they could be anywhere.
  20. Maybe this mod will be helpful to you. Only for PC though. Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30367
  21. It needs to be installed manually. Carefully read the entire mod page to understand what the mod does and how to install it. This applies to any mod you plan on using for any game.
  22. I don't expect any of them to work out of the box. I also have not heard anything about modders being contacted to help implement features, sounds like a rumor more than anything else. I know they contacted old BioWare employees to help with the first game, but I really doubt they asked modders. If you have a source for that info, I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
  23. Building your own PC is the best value choice usually, but it's not a great time to buy PC parts right now due to the shortages. There is no definitive "best" when it comes to PC though, as best is entirely dependent on what you are doing specifically with that PC. Someone that plays E-Sports title for instance doesn't need too powerful of a PC, but someone that wants to play Red Dead Redemption 2 as high settings will need a stronger PC. The same goes for non gaming stuff, so if you use video editing software or do 3D rendering in blender or something, then your PC will need to suit that task. If you'd like to know a good company to buy a PC from, then I would suggest NZXT BLD as their PC's are not too badly priced and they make stuff with off the shelf parts. They have some questions they ask you on their site to help you decide how much you should spend. Hope that helps. I'm happy to answer more questions if you have any.
  24. Once you have all of the DLC's, this is the one you'll need: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104587?tab=files&file_id=1000335463 That's the only primary file. The optional files are patches that make it work better with additional mods, but you only need to worry about those if you are also using those mods.
