Well, there is the mod project Portal: Prelude.Valve is also working on Portal 2 afaik, but don't ask me when they will publish it(just think of Episode 3...) I had totally forgot about the companion cube! shame on me! ^^ ...anyway this game was really awesome in every possible way. The gameplay was impressive, and the plot witty. At a more technical point of veiw, if you spawn the cake anywhere else its a ghost item,you just walk throug the cake!! So i think the ghost-cake is a lie.
