Total War: Warhammer Mods?

Hello there, Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

Is there a reason why mods for Total War: Warhammer are not posted here? Or are there even any plans for doing so?

Don't know anything about the game, or if it even can be modded or not, if it maybe already has a modding community somewhere else, etc., but for quite some time now Nexus is setup to host mods for every game.

 

All it takes is for someone to make a mod for the game, then upload it from the main site's upload wizard, don't select a game, as they won't find it, but instead enter the information for a new one to be created, upload the mod, wait a short while for an admin to check the suggested game, and if everything's alright, a new game site will be created almost automatically, and the mod will be the first one available on it.

The game has literally hundreds of mods available on Steam, but since I hate Steam with a passion and refuse to install it, I'd prefer to find those same mods elsewhere. So, back to my question, Ladies and Gentlemen: any mods for this game here, or are there even plans to include them?

We don't make the sites, as Drake pointed out, a modder uploading a mod for an unsupported game does.

Ah, so there are mods, but just not here. Then why don't you ask the authors of those mods on the Steam forums or wherever else they share? Wouldn't contacting those authors and asking them why they aren't here be a better idea?

As everyone suggested, contact the mod authors (or become one yourself) and have them upload their stuff here.

The game is EXCLUSIVELY available on Steam. If you refuse to install Steam then it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to have a legitimate copy of the game. If you enjoy the game, BUY IT. Also, people like you are a plague to nexus as there are more chances for issues with mods when using pirated copies of games. This results in more bug reports or complaints, thus causing more issues for the mod authors and potentially updating mods which cause issues for legitimate users.

he never said he was pirating the game.... he just hates the steam workshop (which is quite understandable)

 

i think the problem arent "pirates", but people who jump to conclusions without proof and judge others very impolitely

dude.... i know this is 4 years old. but the OP said "but since I hate Steam with a passion and refuse to install it"

that pretty much is a confession that he is not playing the game on steam. and the game was steam elusive at the time. thus they are pirating the game

 

so i'm pretty sure the problem is indeed pirates, and people should fact check before making statements.
