This saved my hide. Tried three other fixes, did the FNIS.ini thing and the Mod Organizer generating files inside the own folder thing, nothing worked. This did. Wonder why Windows hates FNIS.

Wow, another confirmation that this error may be because of Windows Defender. Disable defender, run again.

This was frustrating me for a hot minute. Disabling windows real life protection also worked for me.
