I am not very experienced in modding and really liked how simple the process was with NMM and LOOT. Can i download Vortex and expect the process of installing mods to be as simple and reliable as NMM?

Vortex is the only mod manager I use now, but I consider myself very experienced in both modding and problem resolution.

Vortex is Alpha software, is lacking documentation, and changes - often. It uses Loot internally.

If you are as inexperienced as you say, stick with what you know - NMM and Loot.

Wait for Vortex General Release in maybe another six months..

Ditto here, rmm200.

Kenulous, I've used NMM and MO previously. I now manage over 200 mods for SSE with Vortex and have a rock-solid, stable game. Mod conflicts were always a pain to understand and address for me with the other managers, but Vortex makes it very easy.
