When does Desdemona ask you to leave the Minutemen?

âOk, I know she never actually forces you to leave the Minutemen. But there's a point in the Railroad questline when she has the line "Please, work with us instead of the Minutemen," and you can't progress in the Railroad questline until you agree to do so (even though you aren't actually kicked out of the Minutemen).

When exactly does she have that line?

I think it is before they attack Bunker Hill, sorry can't remember the quest name.

I haven't come across that line myself, but she DID say something similar regarding the Brotherhood once I had turned in the encrypted holotape to Proctor Ingram. The Minutemen version of that quest is "Inside Job", so it's probably if you have that quest or finished it.

She doesn't ask you to leave, she asks you to "side with" the RR instead of the MM. But that's not what you asked.

When is she supposed to? I have no idea other than "After the Sole Survivor gets into the Institute." For me, it's always right before the end of Memory Interrupted (a misc RR quest). After getting into the Institute, coming back, Desdemona telling me she "heard a rumor" that i got in, then eventually asking me to help out H2-22 one last time. After finishing up with Glory, I'll come back and tell her I took care of things, but she doesn't want to hear it. She'll ask and ask and ask until I say I'll "Side with the Railroad." If you run into this as well, the only way to finish Memory Interrupted without starting Underground Undercover is setstage 000a8baf 500.
