z0phim Posted November 12, 2018 Share Posted November 12, 2018 I have run into this problem as well.I first encountered it while setting up Stardew Valley and have seen it for The Witcher 2 as well.For both of these games I ran into the problem before adding any mods. I have tried installing Vortex on my SSD(C:\) and my HDD.I have moved Startdew Valley between the SSD and HDD with no change in the issue. For Stardew Valley it is currently installed at C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew ValleyThe mods folder is C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods I have yet to be able to successfully Activate Stardew Valley in Vortex.I have left Vortex open with the "Starting Deployment" running for over an hour with no appearance of it working.
