JasonKM Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Having trouble installing kotor onto a new computer running windows 10. Got compatability sorted and can load the discs for installation by lowering screen resolution but running into trouble with direct x at the end. At the end of the installation attempt I get an error message saying a direct x dll isn't found and then it exits installshield at 99% and abandons the installation. I haven't tried installing kotor2 but I'm guessing I'll have the same problem, being Me/XP of Kotor era obviously uses a different direct x system to W10. I noticed other people have apparently installed Kotor/K2 on W10 so I was wondering if there's a dll download fix or something? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
