Porting a Ring Problems

OK, here is the problem. I am trying since five days to port a ring from LE to SE for personal use (I just want a replacer not the whole 10 Finger Ring system). Bond of Matrimony from Dovahbling. However running it though Nifoptimizer does make it lie on the floor without moving with my hands. I opened the mesh and found out there is no Skin Data or BSDismemberSkinInstance. So I downloaded Nifscripts and 3Ds Max. First I run the meshes through NifOptimizer then I added skin modifiers and BSDismemberSkin modifier. However this deleted the Vertex Data like Colors. So I copied the Dismember Nodes to the first (optimized) mesh, but in game the mesh then explodes and looks nothing like ring. I am honestly tired of this and I am out of ideas. Does anyone have a idea what am I doing wrong?
