Being Redirected from the Site

This just started happening, but whenever I use Nexusmods, I can only use it for a few minutes before I get redirected to a site called payers2.website which has this thing called Win Errx007 which is also accompanied by a constant loud ringing sound. If I had to guess, it wants me to download something that will give me a virus, but I can't be 100% certain because I close the browser immediately. I've seen a similar report on this forum as well, but I didn't see a solution as for fixing it. I've used Malwarebytes and Windows Defender and they both say I'm clean, but I don't really want to use the website as long as this keeps happening in fear of getting some kind of virus.

I've been running into the same problem. Running addblock solves it, but i know you prefer us to view adds. I have no problem with seeing adds, but i do take issue with being redirected off of your site to a scam. If you can fix this, i have no problem disabling addblock, but until then addblock will have to stay running.

Would you please fix this I'm getting really tired of dumping all my browsing history, dumping cache and having to run AV software repeatedly.

This problem has been happening for several days now. It does not pop up on any other sites I visit. It is very obvious malware with the intention of harming a gullible persons computer.

  • 2 weeks later...

Same here... all kinds of different redirections. The last one was something about updating flash (which I have latest and greatest). The one before that opened a new page that went full size and I could not close until I did Task Manager.

I ran Malwarebytes and all is clean.
