If I want to lay out the mod localization using only .esp to translate lines, and leave a link to download the main archive of the author, do I need to contact the author personally to ask for permission? There is no specific localization permission line in the "Permissions and credits" section, so should I equate "Modification permission" with localization permission? Pickysaurus Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 Hi Tucks, You can read our File Submission Guidelines for details, specifically this part: Language translations should be submitted only as an addition that works in conjunction with the original file and you should link to the original file as a mirror or in your file description. Translations that include content from the original mod without permission may be subject to moderation and will be removed if requested by the original file author(s).
