Extremely Slow Download Speeds, 50% dropped pings from multiple ISPs

I am experiencing extremely slow download speeds around 50KB/s from the website, and even slower when using Vortex around 25KB/s. Running a continuous ping I get around 50% of pings dropped, though the response times seem normal on the ones that don't drop. I have access to several networks with different ISPs and they have about the same download speeds and ping results.

If you get slow speed to all of our CDN nodes (servers) it's unfortunately more likely to be a problem with your connection than with our servers. I would recommend contacting your ISP to troubleshooting further.

If it works via a VPN that implies the route the traffic is taking from our server to your PC has a "weak link" somewhere.
