Open Up New Vegas' Closed Buildings

This is one for the pack rats really, I came up with it a while ago.

Ever walked up to a building in a town or in the middle of nowhere, only to find the doors and windows are boarded up? This brought me the idea for this mod. Give every single *closed* building an interior cell, fill some of these closed buildings with loot and enemies [only minor ones mostly, just for fun], then introduce varying amounts of loot including a few rare items across maybe 10% of the boarded up buildings. The finally, replace each boarded door with a teleport door. Et voila!

I know this could be a rather big job, it would probably need a team, but who agrees? Any love for this?

Sounds good, I will have to check it out. It looks on the same lines as what I mean but I haven't downloaded it yet, will have a bash on it tonight.

By the description, though, it doesn't seem as OCD and complete as what I am imagining. I could be wrong, though.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, adding interiors to every building is a very time intensive process. As is evidenced, even the game devs didn't want to or have the time/manpower to pull it off. NV Interiors is made by the same guy who did DC Interiors for Fo3, which added interiors to well over 60 buildings in downtown DC.

DCInteriors open 115 building in and around D.C. and, NVInteriors opens 75 building not including the fact you can enter every upright boxcar and, Train engine in New Vegas.

I'm working on adding more but, these things take time there are a lot of building to get through.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I am going to give the NV interiors a blast now I have a couple of days off from work!

Not surprised the game devs don't bother. Seems to be they don't bother with much, in comparison to what an army of community modders can do! Its fantastic!
