Where to start learning Papyrus?

Hey all,

I'm currently in a game-focused programming class (c++) and am looking to apply some knowledge to scripts.

 

However, I'm lost in terms of setting up. I have Notepad++ with the Papyrus files/language XMLs, but don't know what to start with. I mean, learning C++ I did the typical 'hello world' and what-not exercises, but for Skyrim, what can I do to test the waters of Papyrus? And tutorials that give a list of things to do, walkthrough-style, that I can use to get familiar with the system?
