That could explain it. Although i don't remember moving NMM manually i did have it installed somewhere else a long time ago (But uninstalled that when i took a Skyrim break). And NMM didn't even ask me about the locations it just started uninstalling the mods as soon as is started it... Anyways i'm back to version 0.49.3 now and i'm staying with that for now. At least until i start a new playthrough cause then i get a clean install anyways.
  2. In response to post #15394125. #15395040, #15400615, #15400745, #15401910, #15404235, #15405440, #15405790 are all replies on the same post. Well i followed the instructions. I uninstalled NMM selecting "No" when asked to delete settings. I then installed the new Version into the same folder the old Version was in. I didn't change my Skyrim folder in the process because why should i... Still NMM is trying to uninstall all my mods... In one try (yes i had several so far double and tripple checking everything...) it even scanned for all the games again and i double checked wether it found the correct path for skyrim or not (it did...). Currently i'm reinstalling 0.49.3 and it is reinstalling every single mod of mine because, and i quote: "The mod "xyz" was deleted without beeing deactivated. However, a different version has been detected. The installed, missing, version is 2.0; the new version is 2.0. You can either upgrade the mod or uninstall it." And so on... And since i can't check wether it got the right paths BEFORE it starts uninstalling my mods i have to assume that there is something wrong in the installation process... e.g. it overrides my path setting with the default ones or something like that...

  4. Ok i don't know what it is but i uninstalled the old Version (didn't delete the configs) and installed 0.50.2! First time i did this it started scanning for Games and i confirmed the locations. But when i startet NMM for Skyrim it started uninstalling every single mod of mine cause it couldn't find it. So i rolled back to version 0.49.3 (for which i still had the installer) and then i had to reinstall most of the Mods even though i didn't uninstall them earlier... Tried for a second time today but this time i updated through NMM. Updating to version 0.49.8 was fine but then when trying to update to version 0.50.2 and in the process uninstalling the current version i got the same problem. Version 0.50.2 seams to have a different location for the mod files and i cant change it since it wants to uninstall all my mods right at the startup screen. I cant even get into the normal NMM window to configure it without uninstalling every single mod of mine :-( So i rolled back again and now NMM says (still in the little startup window) that a Mod was deleted without beeing deactivated however it found a different version of the mod and wants to install it... My suspicion is that the default paths for version 0.50.2 are overwriting my custom set ones even though i kept the configs and i cant change the paths before its fully started. But before it starts it wants to uninstall all kinds of mods becaue they are no longer there...
  5. First of the background. I got the Lucky 38 Suite Reloaded mod installed. And now my game crashes everytime i try to enter it (wether with the teleport or through the elevator) after i installed a mod that alters a specific item. This item is stored in one of the containers inside the suite. I know what item it is and i know it will work when this item is completely gone cause i testet that by enabling and disabling different mods and trying different saves. The problem only occurs when i alter or remove a items which is stored inside the Lucky 38. Now my question is: Is there a way to remotely remove said item from the container without entering the suite? I know in which container it is and what item it is i just havent figured out a way to delete it from there. Thanks in advance for the help!
