  1. I have always wondered if its even possible to integrate like twitch chat or equivalent into the game wher you can see the chat in game and also type into the chat to? i am guessing, if it is possible then it would need like SKSE?
  2. Publishing a mod with a required mod that has not been released yet classes the mod as incompatible because it cannot be tested till the required mod is released. This just causes more harm than good
  3. Today i have been looking over the mods that are on the nexus to date only to get annoyed by a couple things Mod Descriptions While its nice for mod authors to be able to copy their page from the original mod, this helps them out publishing thier content faster. However this has made them lazy as they do not edit these leaving links to original Skyrim mods etc. Some mods have information that does not relate to SSE Required Mods Some mods require others to work but some requre mods have no working release for SSE for some mods to function. I have seen some mods that require atleast 1 or more of these mods:- SKSECBBESkyUIMCMHow can someone release a mod that requires another that is not even released yet? you cannot test that it works meaning that, until the required mod is released then the mod should be classed as incompatible for SSE and/or False Information, which, technically can be reported. Recommended Mods With the laziness of the mod descriptions, people are not fixing links etc. While the links are valid, they do cause confusion and frustration for players. Some people will be new to modding and will not notice that the link goes to a mod that is for original skyrim etc. Mod Categories Is it to hard for mod authors to check what category that thier mod will be listed under? there are quite a few mods that are listed under the complete wrong category and does not relate to it, for example a weapon texture mod listed under save games, etc. Now you may think that i am just been silly and picky, however, i am not, i am thinking about those who are not used to modding. People new to modding may not know that Original Skyrim mods may not really work on SSE etc. New people to modding may not know that the linked SKSE will not work and that the SSe version is not even developed etc. If you ask me, i think its just utter laziness that people do not proof read their stuff, or are just trying to get their mod listed before a similar mod does to get more "endorsements". This is just bad practice and imo, for those who do it, i don't bother using their mod and don't get any respect from me if you cannot take 1-2 mins to make sure your links are relevant, information is correct etc.
  4. Am i the only one that is hoping that all current mods will require some work to be ported to SSE to prevent people stealing mods? but also in some way i am also hoping that modding will fail for SSE because Bethesda deserves it for all the crap mod authors get from the bethesda site etc.
  5. Thats what I have been looking at, i was wondering if it is possible to change the value while in game via a terminal/holotape to allow it to be configurable to the players preference. i can do it for PC without it being configurable by making an NMM installer but cannot do the same for consoles.
  6. Hello I am wondering if there is anyway to change a certain value of sound descriptors? the specific value i am looking to change is the Static attenuation. i have looked around even looked though the Skyrim stuff for CK and can only find information relating to skyrim script extender. Is it possible to do in CK without 3rd party tools? the reason why i would prefer not to use 3rd party tools is i would like to make the mod compatible with consoles too. I can do what i want by using replacement audio files but if i can do this without going doen that route then it would be more efficient and would be compatible with PS4 Thanks in advance for any advice :) CAPGames
  7. thanks for this, I hate asking for help on Bethesda's poor excuse for a forum and try to find the answer on my own but stuff relating to the Creation Kit focused on fallout 4 mechanics that are not in skyrim such ass the build menu stuff, there is next to nothing out there for people to get help and forget the creation kit wiki, there is litterly nothing there. Maybe this way we can build a better resource to help the community create mods so again, thank you for this
  8. Here is an idea for you all, is anyone going to E3 or know anyone that is going to E3. You could always speak to Bethesda there about the issue or highlight the main problems that their system has caused, also try get a personal contact from someone. It is a public event so they wont want a big scene to be caused but if more than a handful of people speak to them about the same issue, they may just listen since there will be a lot of gaming press there that the issue could potential go viral which could cause a rework of their system or it may not. The timing of this could not be perfect with E3 coming up and if modders or mod users that appreciate the modders work on here, speak to them face to face then it gives them no choice but to provide some sort of statement on the spot. the thing about doing this is that you would have to not be harassing about it, be polite about it etc. maybe get a popular YouTuber who supports mods to approach them too. Of course, they could just say "you would have to contact support" but if they care about this enough then they might provide some useful insight to the whole affair. I thought to share this idea with you all since E3 is not long away.
