  1. Agreed. Every time I check back for progress, there's always at least one person on the page asking for updates. Leave it alone people, it'll be done when it's done. Remember, these awesome people are making SKSE for free, and in there spare time. I don't care if it doesn't come out until next year, real life comes before cool projects like this. Thanks to the SKSE team for all the work you guys have put into the project, it's greatly appreciated!
  2. Thanks for all the work you put into your mods and for sharing it with us Neanka, its greatly appreciated. They are quality mods and I'll continue to use them even if development has stopped.
  3. Hey guys, so Skyrim was the game that introduced me to the Elder Scrolls games, so I've never played Oblivion. I tried to play it on 360 but just couldn't do it after playing Skyrim first, but now that I have a nice gaming rig I'd like to play through this game. I'm NOT new to modding, I have a HUGE load order for Fallout:New Vegas and a relatively big load order for Skyrim, so I know how to install all different kinds of mods, manually or through a mod manager. Which brings me to my question, since I've never played Oblivion before, what mods should I use to enhance the vanilla experience? It was easy to choose mods for Fallout and Skyrim because I played through the vanilla games countless times in my 360 days. I'd like as many high quality texture mods as possible, along with anything else that will improve my gameplay experience. My system specs - CPU - Intel Core i5-4670k @ 4.4GHz GPU - MSI GTX 770 2GB RAM - 16GB 1866MHz 256 GB SSD To once again emphasize it, I'd prefer to save the big overhaul mods for future playthroughs, I'd like mods that will enhance the vanilla experience. Thanks guys!
  4. In response to post #16467319. #16468479 is also a reply to the same post. Yes, a source for that would be much appreciated.
  5. "release our beta of "Expansion" in the near future"
  6. So, is it not possible or what? Any ideas? I tried changing the exit command from E to Tab and it didn't work.
  7. Even just reading this part brought me back to hearing that for the first time and sent shivers down my spine. Such an amazing story, and I actually liked the ending. Effing love Mass Effect, especially the Geth. (Unless in multiplayer, then Geth can burn in hell)
  8. Hey guys, I've been playing some Skyrim lately in an effort to take a break from Fallout, but I just can't get enough Fallout. I was wondering if there's a way to change the "exit" command from E to Tab like in Skyrim. I've already looked around in the file that allows you to change the "take all" command without any luck. Thanks!
  9. Hey guys. I'm trying to get back into Skyrim to take a break from Fallout New Vegas, I've installed some mods that I like and I can't figure out why the hell I can't do s**t when I get hit with any ice spells. I ran into ONE novice ice wizard and she killed me with the most basic ice spell simply because I couldn't freaking move. I know it's supposed to slow you down, but I literally can't even move at all when I'm hit with ice. 10. Open Steam, go to your library, and right click on "Fallout NV". Choose properties and go to local files, and then click on verify integrity of game cache.
  11. Excellent, thanks for the recommendation!
  12. Hey guys, I'm sure this has been covered a million times, but I would appreciate some help on a few questions I have. So, I just put together a powerful gaming PC about a week ago and have been heavily modding my game now that I actually can without reducing my game to a crawl. (Was on a crappy core i3 laptop) I do have experience modding my game and how to troubleshoot issues etc, but I've been having memory issues even with the 4GB launcher, a tweaked ini to utilize more RAM (New Vegas Optimized on Nexus), and I have 16GB of RAM. I've installed NMC's large texture pack and EWI's ultimate texture pack. I've seen posts about people running the two together without to much problems, but my game always crashes after about an hour due to running out of memory. Is there anything further I can do to alleviate the memory issues? Would purging cell buffers every 20-30 minutes help? I've also used NV Configator to increase my view distance. Should I turn my graphics options back to stock Ultra? I also installed EWI's first, then NMC's, both manually. Here is my load order. I also have NVAC, NVSR, and NVSE. I use BOSS to auto sort, and then manually go through the list moving things that I think should be moved. Also, another question regarding load order, I recently saw a post on the Nexus where a guy was having issues and posted his LO, in it was multiple merged patches. How does one go about creating multiple merged patches properly? I know how to make a merged patch, but I just select everything and make one big patch. I recently started using FOOK-PN convergence, which is incompatible with an automatic merged patch, so I no longer have any merged patches because I'm not sure what to manually merge. I would appreciate some information on what can safely be put into a merged patch without causing issues. Creating one big merged patch with FOOK-PN active caused the cyberware module to stop functioning. Yes, I did create a new game after installing FOOK-PN. Thanks in advance! 13. I usually install big mods manually, or if I'm not 100% sure it's working correctly when installed through a manager. I would recommend manually extracting the 3 NMC packs into your NV Data folder, then use NMM or FOMM to activate the tree patch. I don't actually know if you did it right or wrong, as I use FOMM. I recommend using FOMM, it's always been easier to use for me, and the author of the updated FOMM say's he's patched in LAA functionality so you can still use it to install big mods if you'd like. (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54991/?) Uninstalling is more annoying when you install it manually though. I recommend opening up each pack and comparing that to what's in your data folder to find out what folders to delete.
