  1. I am sorry for revisiting an old thread but has anyone found the solution to skip "Press any button to start" at the start and launch the menu itself. I realize it's not a big deal for most -- or, irrelevant at worst.
  2. I fill so stupid right now. I meant to post this topic in the New Vegas section. Please, excuse my tardiness. EDIT: Still could anyone help?
  3. I tried to remove "to" as per your instructions, HosokawaTakuya. Unfortunately, it didn't resolve my issue. I checked and rechecked that I have correct quest stage set in the Entry Point but I seem to have exhausted my GECK capabilities.
  4. I don't feel insulted in any way, not at all. It's because I realize modders are quite busy I decided to ask in a nutshell question. Perhaps I was wrong. Thank you for your answer, vforvic. What I am trying to do is create a trait that would double the skill increase rate. iSkillPointsTagSkillMult to be specific. I tried to tinker with "Generic" in the "Quest" (Actor Data) section of GECK. I added a new stage and typed in the Result Script: ; triggered by xyz rank 1 SetGS iSkillPointsTagSkillMult to 2 But that doesn't seem to work. Hence my question. Hope I made myself clear this time :) EDIT: Oh, and I'm trying to do this without having to use NVSE.
  5. I tried to use Photoshop CS2 with nvidia .dds plugin installed. When I try to add an image to the game, all I get is this (I tried cancerous growth): My link EDIT: Solved! All I needed is to click "Load channel as selection" (right lower corner) before saving to .dds. Thanks, dree74!
  6. Hello, everyone. Pleased to make my first post in the modding section of Fallout. I've recently run into a problem of sorts when trying to create a perk in G.E.C.K. In a nutshell: Is there any way to add GMST(gamesettings) option to a perk? I want one feature of GMST but only when a perk/trait is active. Looking forward to the answers, SydneyRoo
  7. I remember playing it right after it came out, and thought it had great potential of being really fantastic game when properly patched and modded (That came a bit later). Guess, I was right :-)
  8. Try this one: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4719 It has various options available.
  9. OK my uncle just let me have his PSU which is 560W and 25A/15A on 12V1/12V2 rails. Its working pretty good and my shutdowns seemed to disappear but do you guys think it will last long enough? Thx, Roo
  10. Haha, fortunately I do not keep my girlfriend's photos on my home computer :-) My uncle is into tech stuff since he was like 18 so Ill get his help for free I hope :-) Luckily it will be only PSU to change rather than the whole rig
  11. Hey, thanks mate! I'l be sure to check them out as soon as I deal with my tech issues.
  12. So ur also certain that its my PSU? I repeat I stress tested my CPU, memory,GPU and nothing so it must be PSU right?
  13. IS this enough amps for geforce 260gtx and Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, 1866 MHz L2 (thats the despriction of my CPU in the manual) http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/8734/mypsu.png I made a graph in paint of whats written on my psu
  14. Vadilou, I got 2 GB of RAM. I also tested memory with OCCT on the highest stress possible but for an hour but there was no errors. Also run Prime95 with no problems whatsoever. Im pretty sure its my PSU. Asked my friend whos more into this tech stuff and he told me in 90% cases its power supply whats failing.
