  1. Hi ,the area around and leading to Riverwood is notorious for ctd's mainly because several game cells converge there, I would advise removing any mod that makes major changes to Riverwood ,so I would uninstall jks skyrim and maybe download the separate jk mods for the other towns and cities.
  2. Check your skyrim appdata plugins list in your documents/users/your name/appdata/local/skyrimSE appdata (I think that's the file path) ,try setting it to read only and see if the problem persists but you will have to re-enable editing for NMM when you want to mod your game.
  3. At a guess I would say its something to do with rebalanced leveled lists.
  4. I take it your game is crashing? mate I have been modding skyrim for the last 5 years I can tell you that you have way to many mods going on! I don't know if you know much about modding but anything that adds npcs, alters npcs behaviour ,adds spawns, changes the levelled lists, adds quests or new locations are potential game crashers especially adding so many to your game. The problem is that the mod itself may work perfectly fine as the author intended but the author cannot for see that we as users will add every mod going and therefore produce errors that crash our game (I am talking about me too!) My advice is uninstall the lot and start with textures ,graphics overhauls then pick 1 or 2 large overhaul mods and test them! stick with that. Mods that I know cause trouble are: Open cities makes huge changes to the skyrim world space only use if you are going to use very few mods and then test with caution! Usleep ,I will use this myself but my advice is to wait a few weeks for the guys to iron out all the bugs! Unlevelled items messes with the levelled lists ,I would not touch it. I would not have immersive sounds and reverb overhaul together, pick one! Ok well I wish you luck, less is more!
  5. I am looking for this mod which was basically a set of ini settings that vastly extended the visible grass on screen ,unfortunately it is no longer available so does anyone know the settings it provided? As I remember it really helped to cover the terrain. See video https://www.youtube....h?v=PiYbzGzOrV8

  7. Has anyone tried ugrids to load 7 or above? I understand the default is 5 but wondered if anyone has managed to run a stable game with a higher Ugrid and what their settings are.
  8. At a guess I would say have a look at the scoped bows eagle eye tweak ,sound like your stuck in zoom mode.
  9. Unfortunately Skyrims near distant terrain is awful and really there is not much you can do in ini's to help (don't mess with your ugirids to load it will break your game) ok well what you can do is use dyndolod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721/? to improve the lods ,also I have struggled with this issue and my answer was to use Noir fog bound enb and larger trees, these effectively hide the ugly distant terrain but leaves the mountains clear.
  10. I had this problem and it drove me nuts trying to find an answer, turns out I needed to repair my direct X! so try downloading direct x runtime https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429 should sort it out.
  11. If the mod page says to use enb version 279 then that's the one you should use and if it is an older one that's no longer available at enb.com then the mod author usually supplies a link to a download. If the mod page says for example enb version 279+ then this basically means use the latest version i.e the + means version 279 or above.
  12. Try using this enb remover it may clear any leftover files that are causing your CTDs. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7804/?
