THIS ^^^^ Exactly! Those who know how to handle mods and who will not bother the authors while stuff is in alpha already know what to do. The others just have to wait.

Wow! That story made me look at my profile... I've been here, one way or another, since 2003!!! That's 12 years you've helped me mod my games! Well done, sir! I've seen this site grow, change and evolve over time. I've followed your comments on both the good and the bad things that happened along the way. I can just barely imagine the amount of work and the dedication it took to get where we are now. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it, and I don't know many people who could! Whatever tomorrow may bring, know that you have earned the respect and gratitude of millions through your hard work. Now, who else can say that? You've often said that this site would be nothing without the mod authors and that is quite true. However, no one should forget that modding would not be what it is today without you and this site. Take a breath, grow a smile, sit back a second and enjoy! You've earned it! Hoping for more years of support for the modding community, I salute you! -
In response to post #8163889. #8163953, #8164016, #8164166, #8164493, #8164518, #8165129 are all replies on the same post. LOL! You're right though... File transfers never fail at the beginning... Only at the end... Been true since the era of dial-up BBSes...

Am I right in assuming this is going to break the functionallity of any other mod manager (ie: Skyrim Mod Organizer) that was relying on Nexus for mod information? If so, is it your intention to allow those programs to access the new interfaces or will they henceforth be barred from querying Nexus sites for mod info? Not that I dont think NMM is a good program but to me, the extra possibilities offered by Skyrim Mod Organizer totally supercede any desire I might have of (sorry for saying this) "downgrading" to NMM to manage my mods.
