  1. What's the best way to navmesh an external worldspace? I want to navmehs the grotto, but for some reason it only generates a single cell (the one I'm in) and it doesn't allow me to edit by hand outside of it. I can't merge vertices on the borders, nor move them outside the border. So how do I do the connections between cells?

  3. I seem to recall the Creation Kit having a shortcut when Navmeshing, that will snap all selected vertexes to the surface, but I can't recall what it was. Since the CK has frakked up my navmesh (half of it floats above way too much above ground), I kinda really need that shortcut now

  5. F*** Skyrim. Really F*** it and the Creation Kit. I frakked up my Nav Mesh at some point. Parts of it are missing and parts are floating far higher than they should be. I seem to recall a shortcut that places vertex on the ground. Can anyone tell me what it is? Fixing all of it manually is driving me nuts, and at this rate I'm gonna toss this mod in the recycle bin out of anger. Every time I start making good progress, something pops up. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

  7. That would be "World LOD" I guess? EDIT: Using 4 processors/cores. Creating queue of files to be built... Building 64 chunks at level 1. Building 16 chunks at level 2. Building 4 chunks at level 4. Building 1 chunks at level 8. Building object texture atlas... Texture atlas build failed with the following errors: LOD diffuse texture '..\Source\TGATextures\lod\DweRuins01_LOD.tga' and normal texture '..\Source\TGATextures\lod\DweRuins01_LOD_n.tga' are not the same size (but should be). Odd

  9. That's kinda the problem. I'm not talking about in the CK, I figured that out. I'm talking about testing the area in-game. In game, when I walk around, parts simply do not render untill I get closer. And only in this area.
  10. Making progress. First test of the valley and placing it in the world. So far so good. Need to add more trees and clutter, but it's hsaping up. The only issue I have is that the cliffs/mountins parts that form the grotto do not render past a certain distance..and the groto is only 2x2..maybe 3xe cells? Will make a vid once I pretty it up some more
  11. CufrrentFollower faction doesn't exist in the list in the CK. The only ones I found are PlayerFaction and DunPlayerAllyFaction
  12. But will "current follower" faction work with multiple follower mods? Or does it only affect current ACTIVE follower? What about inactive ones? And if it's just ownership, can't it be dynamicall set?
  13. Thanks aynway. B.t.w. - given that I have a lot of rooms in the mansions, I want to make it really feel likr home. That's why I'm adding a few weapon/armor dispalyes in those room too - you know when your follower had an armor or weapon for a while and you replace it, but want to store their old stuff? Well, now they can dispaly it in THEIR room. But to truly make it their room, I want to make it their home location(so I can dismiss them there easily) and their bed (so they sleep there). Since I suck at scripting, I need help. I need a way to designate bed ownership and home location in the house for the followers. I know mods like ATF have "dismiss but hang around here" command, but you have to be at the location alread to dismiss them. Waht I'm looking for is "This bed is now yours and this is now your home location!"
  14. Well, I'll see if I can optimize the configuration. I can use a temporary model for a while at least. I still have to fix the central Dawnguard room tile...or find someone who already fixed it. I can't belive no one caught it.. i know Bethseda didn't end up using that tile, but surely some other modder caught it
  15. That, or I'll somehow have to find a single piece model for the manor or something... But I don't get how the grotto can already be at 85%, given that I've sen a lot bigger and more cluttered worldspaces. It's just a grotto.
