  1. At least the forums actually work here, unlike -some- modding sites ;)
  2. So guys, now that Nexus has officially gone off the deep end, you should PM me some better mod hosting sites! With the horrible redesign and this atrocious donation system, I feel like there's no point in staying here save for the fact that Nexus hosts the majority of mods. It's becoming the Walmart of the modding community. Absolutely disgusting. Edit: Meh, the problem with leaving Nexus is that it's the most widely used. Even if a constant spew of questionable decisions are made, nexus holds the most sway overall. You can either choose to use Nexus and actually have people see your mods, or you can release mods that no one will see. It's a rather blatant choice, I wish it wasn't such a monopoly. Nexus has provided great support and an excellent service in the past. Hopefully it'll continue to do so despite the... many hiccups.
  3. It was actually already a vanilla Skyrim mod, from what I've seen. Maybe it only needs conversion.
  4. Hey guys! I'm very interested in having a muted loading screen for Skyrim: Special Edition. That is, a loading screen without the flavor text or the big renders floating around. The rendered fog is fine, but the other stuff should go, in my opinion (Bretons have 50% resistance to magic? No, they have 25% game). To replace the flavor text, you could either get rid of it completely (preferred) or replace it with "loading". Thanks guys!
  5. Hello! I'm the DrunkenMudcrab. I've been away from Morrowind modding for a long time, but I have returned with a vengenace, my newest mod being a companion mod with over 1000+ lines of dialogue and a new quest! So, the story is that he is an Argonian that does not hail from Black Marsh, but from Hammerfell. There is a bit of incorrect dialogue in the radiant voiceovers, such as "So strange, this place, far from the Marsh" and "Master was right to discipline us. We are foolish". I would like to disable these for my character only, without editing the voice over files themselves (As that sounds like a highway to the danger zone a dirty mod). Is there any way to do this, or will I have to break down and exclude the character ID from saying these lines? Thank you!
  6. Thank you. ^-^ I'll be releasing the mod soon- do you wish to be featured prominently as a named Gnome within the mod? You will get credit for your work either way.
  7. Because you included an .esp file in the download? Edit: TheDrunkenMudcrab cannot read. Oops. Anyway, I'll open up nifscope and figure it out. Actually never used the program before. Edit: Again, thank you for making that. ^-^
  8. Oh, also (Flood): Couldn't I just TESsnip this into it, with the texture paths intact?
  9. Hello, I am TheDrunkenMudcrab! I am making a companion mod named "Old Man Jenkins", which will be a fully-voiced companion mod featuring a crazy old Irish man with a combat shotgun, mohawk, and slick Authority Sunglasses. This character is a homage to Old Man Henderson, a Call of Cthulu story. Anyway, the mod will only have one major retexture: A solid gold Garden Gnome, which is the focus of the main quest for this character. I have no skills whatsoever editing objects, so if any of you out there could create a Solid Gold version of the Intact Garden Gnome object in Fallout: New Vegas, it'd really save me. I hope to release this mod before Saint Patricks day, so speediness is key! Thank you Nexus! ^-^ Anyone who does this may have the option of being credited in the mod description, in addition to having the option to appear as one of the named lawn gnomes ingame.
  10. Hello Nexus! I am the Drunken Mudcrab, creator of a bunch of crappy mods and one I am semi-proud of, the Weiss Evil Companion. She is an evil companion I introduced to Fallout 3 due to a disappointing lack of truly vile companions in my own opinion. This problem, however, is shown double-fold in New Vegas, with no Caesar's Legion companions, and no Evil-aligned companions to speak of (To my knowledge). So, I'd like to port my companion over from Fallout 3 to New Vegas, and maybe remake the mod but alot better, with the sweet companion wheel, some voice acting, etc. ! I'm really interested in making this mod successful, but I am an incredibly noobish modder with very little experience modding Fallout. Thank you guys for your help! :)
  11. Hello, I am TheDrunkenMudcrab. I make mods sometimes. I recently made a companion mod named Weiss - Evil Companion, an add-on that includes a new recruitable evil companion with 90+ lines of unrecorded dialogue. I'd like to find someone to voice her, as I do not know any voice actors. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21866/? Weiss is a sick, demented, evil evil evil vile person, so anyone with moral qualms may not wish to do her voice. Her alignment is Very Evil, and she encompasses this in every way. Weiss is Female, so a Female voice actor will be required to voice her. SPECIAL: If a voice actor is found, and she agrees to do extra dialogue after the base game, I will add at least 60+ more lines of dialogue for her to say, to an approximation of over 150 lines of dialogue. If you wish to voice Weiss, please contact me by any of the following three methods: Messaging TheDrunkenMudcrabLeaving a comment on the mod page Thank you Nexus!
  12. Hello Nexus! I, TheDrunkenMudcrab, will be making a mod called "Chronicles of Fargoth". This mod makes Fargoth a follower, complete with companion share, a few hundred lines of dialogue (Including unique greetings) and a questline following your exploits with Fargoth the Wood Elf. Spoiler: There will be a quest about blowing up a boat! This mod is going to be huge, however I am hoping to keep the files vanilla. The mod will use Bloodmoon and Tribunal (And Fargoth will be able to accompany you to Mournhold) and have quests located in those places. This is a post for the Nexus' opinions about the mod! What would YOU want to see implemented in this mod? Is it a stupid idea, and I should go die? Tell me so!
