  1. Right now if you're playing with Survival Mode and SkyUI together, then their is no way of telling what the warmth value of your clothing is. So I came across this VIS Auto patcher for xEdit which i used to successfully rename all items in my game including those from mods. I was amazed how simple it actually is. Just one readable script.. Could someone please with some xEdit script knowledge maybe a script to put the warmth value of all gear into the name? If you have a Patreon i'm verry much willing to donate as much as i paid for the Survival Patch :')
  2. You're in same boat as me, but i'm stuck there already for a loong time. I don't have an exact solution for you yet, but as i'm currently building up my modlist again (for the 20th time or so) i do have some recommendation for you. The problem with modding Skyrim with diffeculty mods is that its mostly focused on fresh games and not on end games. There are ways to balance this out. You want enemies to level with you, or to become somehow stronger which the vanilla game doesn't. So you'll need enemy overhaul mods. Combat overhauls are a great to make it more interesting but do not make enemies unbalanced (that's what you actually want). So here are some recommended mods to make enemy encounters more frequent and more of a threat. The first 2 are for me personally my favorite because they alone make the game so much more better and cover most of it. High level enemies Adds fixed enemy spawns and makes the strongest enemies scale with you. Has the option make every enemy scale with you. Adds a lot of different enemy variants and makes sure enemies are mostly the same level as you. In vanilla Skyrim its not weird to fight enemies that are 15 levels under you. Genesis Unleashed Adds dynamic enemy spawns to dungeons. Use this one to cover things High level enemies doesn't cover. It adds enemies to new lands mods like Bruma which High level enemies doesn't. SSE legendary system Do you like the feel of fighting mini bosses? Then this one's for you. Increased enemy spawns (x2 commended, x3 is just too much to handle) Sometimes being strong isn't everything. Sometimes you want to force yourself to use your brain. With this mod you'll have to use cheesy tactics to disable armies. For instance, combine this one with the above mods and try to enter Bleakfalls barrow without being shot down by a rain of arrows and at the same time being power attacked by 6 bandit warriors. Genesis Surface spawn Equivalent to Genesis Unleashed for the outside. Deadly Wenches Some female warriors will be a lot stronger. Hateful Wenches Like Deadly wenches but for Draugr Crypts. They are being summoned by Draugr and will be resummoned if you don't kill their source. (this one made me realise the game was too hard at that point)Other ways to make combat harder: Hardcore Uncapper ini for Ordinator_Wildcat_and other Enai mods Decreases attribute point you get per level from 10 to 6. In the start that's not such a problem, but the more you level the more this becomes to be a penalty compared to the vanilla game.Wildcat, Vigor, Mortal Enemies and Athletic Combat These mods give combat a lot more aspects to be considerate about. You don't need Combat evolved because you already have Wildcat. I prefer Wildcat because it has a injury system and is still actively being supported with new releases. Vigor adds a lot of stamina penalties to the game and gives enemies potions to make them stronger. It also has an injury system but i recommend to turn it off because Its too cumbersome. Mortal enemies makes enemies more realistic but you already know that. Athletic Combat makes some movements more restrictive, but also enhances some. It punished you more for not being considerate and committed.SkyrimSouls No eating 20 cheesewheels In the midst of battle. Now you prepare before hand, hide or die. Inventory screens no longer pause the game.Deadly diseases of Skyrim & Shrines no longer cure diseases Diseases will become something serious and not something you only discover about its existence after 50 hours into the game.Subsistence Disables Health regeneration and gives food a more valuable aspect to the game. I do have to mention that mods that disable health regeneration aren't compatible with Imperious - Races of Skyrim. But if you had to choose i think Subsistence would have more impact in the long run than Imperious. The problem when installing most of these mods is that your game becomes too hard. In that case there are some mods to balance this out. Draugr Shout less Without this mod, with all the new draugrs spawning on higher level it becomes unable to ever stand up after being spammed with FusDoRah. This mods makes them relax a bit more.Eldritch Battery With SkyrimSouls installed you'll be hiding a lot just to regenerate your magic. With this mod your magic regeneration will get a boost once you avoid getting hit and casting spellsDragon souls to perk point, ESO Skyshards, Perk Points and More Gold for Bounty Quests, Perk Point Awards If you can't gain perk points because the game is too hard then you'll need other ways to obtain those needed perk pointsCombine potions by cooking In the end game small potions become useless. To solve this problem you can combine weak potions with this mod to create their greater counterpartsD13 Faster GET UP STAND UP animation Make combat a bit easier and fasterTK Dodge Now effectively dodge your enemy attacks!Swift Potion Reborn, Equipment HUD, SkyUI These mods give you a lot of extra hotkey options like ability cyclers and group hotkeys. They are very much needed with SkyrimSouls, although even without it makes for more so much more intersting gameplay. Swift Potion Reborn is a non-SKSE mod for grouped cyclers. Equipment HUD is a SKSE based mod that lets you set custom hotkeys for cyclers. And SkyUI has build in hotkeys to equip multiple items and powers at once.Okay, there are lot more mods i could recommend but right now i think i had most of them. I hope i can spare someone like you and others some valuable time with this because i wasted a lot of mine with it  Sorry if i had some bad spelling anywhere but i'm to lazy to correct it right now.
  3. um, i'm afraid it isn't even a build-in feauture of skyrim SE, not that i remember :/
  4. I had a great idea and had to write it somewhere. A quick and dirty discription: To make entering buildings a little bit more interesting most buildings should be locked Between the day all houses except public buildings are lockedAt night only some public buildings are still open (inns/taverns), the rest is closed Only way to enter a locked building is by lockpicking, using a key or just knocking. Lockpicking stays as it isVia an added dialogue option you can ask characters for a key to their house. Whether they give you one is based on your disposition rank (friend/confidant/ally or higher)You can also just knock the door. If someones home they may let you in. This depends on their "nature" and your relationsship. To calculate this a formula could be made based on:Dispostion rank (Friend, confidant, ally or lover)NPC stats (Aggression, assistance, confidence or morality)To circumvent the problem that NPCs can't enter buildings anymore which are part of their daily routine, locks shouldn't be changed. Instead whenever the dragonborn tries to interact with a door which he doesn't have a key for an option dialog should appear. This option dialogue should replace the vanilla interaction and prevent you from immediately entering/lockpicking. Furthermore will this option dialogue ask you if you want to lockpick the door or just want to knock. In case you want to lockpick it, you shall enter the lockpick state for that door. This will create the sense that all door are locked and give you immersive options to enter them. My mods of inspiration are Simply Knock and Lockable doors
  5. So i've tested it and it really works! Guys this keybinding setup is as good as it gets! My ideal setup i've mentioned works and if i want i could bind all other original potions to other custom hotkeys. I only had some problems because i was using Skyrim SE 1.4.2.0 with SKSE64 2.00.02. It caused a problem that whenever i restarted the game the keybinds wouldn't work anymore. So it is required that you update Skyrim to version 1.5.10 and SKSE64 to 2.00.05. A while back i found another one ;) Equpement HUD. It also makes use of sliders, but it has customizable hotkeys and the sliders can be configured to just hold one item/power if that's what you wish.
  6. Donwload Rustic Clothing and aMidianBorn Book of Silence Armors and you'll get pretty close to a complete overhaul. In case you're also using Immersive armors download the aMidianBorn texture pack. Don't forget to manually import those Oldrim mods into NMM in case you're using it.
  7. For all the people coming here because Skyrim SE updated yet again from version 1.5.16 to 1.5.3. Use "download_depot 489830 489833 3146230552641174659" in Steam console to download SkyrimSE.exe version 1.5.16 so you can replace the new one.
  8. I know that in SSEedit you can just edit characters and check the option to make someone marriageable. I only don't know if that also activates the Amulet of Mara dialog.
  9. Right now i'm trying these mods in the exact load order Static Mesh Improvement Mod (Updates a lot of meshes)High Poly Project (Updates a lot of meshes SMIM doesn't)Realistic Water TwoNoble Skyrim (All textures)Osmodius (A lot of textures)Skyrim Flora Overhaul (Only flora, duhh) Viscous Foliage (Grass. The grass is bigger than Verdant which i prefer)Landscape fixes for grass modsSimply Bigger Trees (compatible with Flora Overhaul)HQ Treebark (compatible with simply bigger trees) Enhanced Texture Details (UV-tweaks) Nordic SnowBetter Dynamic SnowNo snow under the roof Forgotten RetexPeltapalozaRugnarokRustic Soulgems

  11. Currently i'm using "Serio's Spells and Shouts Hotkeys" to bind multiple spells and shouts per standard numerical hotkey. You basically bind multiple spells and shouts to potions and by using those potions you cycle to your next set of spells/shouts and equip them. That alone is already a very great mod that really enhances the gameplay. But 2 days ago someone release a mod "Swift Potion Reborn" which makes it possible to bind potions to custom hotkeys. The creator may not have intended it but those 2 mods might actually work very well together, though i'm not sure as i haven't tested it yet. If this works my setup would be: Bind all weapons and equipement to the standard numerical hotkeys, and use the "Swift Potion Reborn" to make custom hotkeys for potions that are used for "Serio's Spells and Shouts Hotkeys" and ideally bind those to all the extra buttons on my mouse. Switch gear with the numerical hotkeys and cycle trough spells/shouts/powers with the extra buttons on the mouse. 12. Alternatives banknotes: Exchange Currency SE Paper world map: A quality World Map (paper world map version in downloads) Invisible player marker: Directionless Player Map Marker (edit the marker image and make it transparent) Item degradation is indeed hard to replace as it really makes use of SKSE. SkyTweak is something you can replace with a lot of little mods, or with SSEEdit with the benefit of creating 1 extra custom esp if you know which values you want to change.
  13. I know that you can edit the health regen of all races in SSEEdit but that only applies to yourself and not to followers. Anyone an idea how i can edit the health regen from Lydia for example?
  14. The way the term "file" is used on this site is inconsistent and is thereby confusing. So i first like to clarify that by file name i mean the name of the individual files that are downloadable on their respective mod pages. So how do you search mods based on the names of the individual downloadable files? I ask this because whenever you haven't touched your mods for a while and like to clean up your mod collection you always come across mod files with generic names like "main-file.zip", "2k-assets.7z", "2k-textures.rar" etc. and you never know to what mod they belong nor are you able to reverse search them on Nexus or Google to find out. If there's a way or an accessible database file (XML, JSON) with all mod files then i like to know. Thanks.
