  1. Thank you for the information. So I think this is right. Creatures are actors and actors navigate on navmesh. If there is no navmesh in an area NPCs will ignore the area. If there is a tree with collisions on navmesh NPCs will try to go around the tree. Trees can block a navmesh area but are not likely to be in narrow areas or to be so many in an area. Trees can be set with or without collisions. Fallout 4 will always have some rare NPC failures. Creatures manage well enough during collision issues most of the time. I have combined A Forest and Rustbelt with custom set densities and select textures from Borealis, Vivid, and others. It is working well and is absolutely amazing. I only see some incorrect tree LODs in Sanctuary areas and it seems to only be elm trees. I need to learn proper LOD and previs generation (will start with Zorkaz) and now I know broken navmesh is not an option for creatures. With this many trees I might need to fix problem collisions by removing some tree collisions or trees. Navmesh, collisions, I think I understand how things need to be. This is a massive task half done. Part 2 must wait for me more learning. Thank you again. I like to help and it means a lot when others help. Happy modding.
  2. Thank you for the reply. I don't really add mods but I do a lot of esp modding. Text color is working proper as normal. I want to change that. I want to stop Fallout 4 from making owned items text red. I removed all live humans from my game. There is nobody to own items. Items are items but some are red and that has no function in my game. I am changing everything and I thought it would be nice to remove the occasional nonsensical red text. I am sure this could be done in the records but I do not know where yet. I also think I could change the color call in the swf but I don't know much about swf files. Thank you again for replying. It makes me happy someone is willing to help.
  3. I am finishing a version of Fallout 4 with only creature NPCs. How do creatures and navmesh function? Will mixing area mods and breaking navmesh cause changes for creatures? Could this cause bounding box issues or other issues? I assume creatures don't have issues with tree mods adding trees? I can handle basic conflict merging. For now I am careful with load order and previs overlap. Maybe next year I will learn to generate new previs and LOD. Mostly curious about creatures navigating with and without navmesh.
  4. Sleep and wait break timed effects. There is a mod that removes sleep healing after you sleep but it still breaks effects over time when sleeping. Waiting breaks things too. The only way to have working timed effects is to never sleep or wait. You can pass time with command set timescale to 999. This can be done with FO4 Hotkeys. You can use a simple hunger thirst mod, use FO4 Hotkeys to pass time, and skip the sleep mechanic sadly. Vanilla sleep, wait, and survival are broken and I hate forced third person furniture so I made the player a robot synthG1 style with a mod here on Nexus. You could also role play that after being frozen for 200 years your body does not sleep now and keep hunger/thirst functioning. Use a mod with an MCM that lets you turn survival stuff on and off Turn on hunger and thirst Turn off sleep Try playing a few game days, maybe a week Do not sleep or rest Sit on a couch and use console to speed time until mornings See if you like that, if you do set up some hotkeys you like to pass time Maybe find a mod that lets you lay down without sleeping and set to same hotkey
  5. My opinion is do anything you like if you are honest and not hurting anyone. Simulated violence is a problem for society. Mixing sex with violence is rock bottom no morals entertainment. Masturbating to rape murder is not making children into nicer adults but that's what some are doing. There is a website just for sex torture in Skyrim. I like people to be happy. I hope everyone enjoys the fantasy shaped women or the gay hulking men or neon club lighting or whatever they like. Honestly making love is the nicest thing you can do in a cut throat wasteland. I hope people keep their stabbing, killing, and dismemberment separate from the sex for mental health reasons. Caging your sex prey is not romantic. Whipping people is not pleasurable. So my full opinion is people are mad horny and it's OK but less violence is best when it comes to sex. Everyone is welcome to disagree. Please don't hate, this is a worthy topic.

Ownership and crime are changed in my game completely I need all items text default color I need to change the color of "owned" items or cancel the color change I do not wish to remove ownership for every placed item record that has it If you can help (don't tell me to go on discordinized) I would appreciate it I have asked a few simple questions in the past.   7. FO4Edit check for conflicts, check for errors, check for dirty edits, merge most simple esp and esl mods, use as few patches as possible. Mostly never trust mod managers and always FO4Edit check for conflicts. After I switched to manual modding and checking everything I never had to hunt for the issue. You don't have to manual mod but you should run all these checks on a mod when you add it.

  9. I have had Fallout 4 VR for a few months. I could never throw anything farther that two or three car lengths. I found Mod Actor Grenade Speed Mult as an entry point so I made a perk with it multiplied by 9999. Standing center on Vault 111 I can throw a molotov over the billboard and even almost all the way to Codsworth! I do not use a mod manager. I removed all esp files, plugin.txt, and Fallout4Custom.ini and loaded a modless save. Then I used console to add molotovs and can still throw extremely far. I did reinstall windows and this game about a week ago. I added a third base station for the Vive but also tested with only two. Did the game get an update that changed throw? Did my perk get recorded somehow to work with all saves? I am most confused.
  10. I seek the same answer. Blocking and unblocking changes FOV. Start and stop moving removes the zoom. If you hold block the FOV constantly zooms in and out as you move and stop. There is absolutely no good reason to have this zooming. People say don't start new threads on existing questions. People say don't revive old questions. Topic is valid, this issue exists in 2020. I did previous research and tried some mods with no success. If you think my asking is a problem I think that is just dramatic.
