  1. I've tried searching keywords that might relate to this, but they always end up showing face retextures or hair and all that, which isn't what I'm looking for. I'm looking for mods that add or change the parts of the face in the character creator. The eyes, nose, mouth, jaw, all that. I'm especially not happy with the nose options for masc V at all. Does a mod like this exist? I thought surely someone would have altered the face parts at this point.
  2. Updating with the attempt that I tried to get into the house on a fresh character, and still got CTD, so I don't think it's a corrupt save thankfully.
  3. I've been struggling for the past couple hours trying to troubleshoot why I cannot enter Myrwatch. I've had a few CTDs beforehand, maybe 10 or so (in a level 59 playthrough of a few weeks), but I honestly just expect CTDs at this point and don't really care as long as they're not consistent. Probably a bad idea, but trying to sort all these mods out is a herculean task. So after getting up to the point of the quest where I cast Flames on the Eye of Magnus symbol, and the door unlocks, I enter. And it crashes during loading. Think, "Oh, must be one of those random CTDs," and try again. Crash. Tried looking it up, and this isn't a common enough issue that anyone seems to have posted about, so if there's some conflicting mod that messes with Myrwatch then I have no idea which one it is. After various attempts of downloading a few CC patches, and nothing worked, I'm stumped. I verify the integrity of the files, clean out dirty files with SSEEdit, and it still continues to crash. I need a bit of help here. I'm not very tech savvy, and I am totally ignorant to how a lot of things work. I get by on blindly following troubleshooting threads and tutorials, mostly. This is my load order, anything crossed out is inactive. I'm on the latest edition of Skyrim AE, using SKSE's preliminary AE build and any mod I have here should work with it, I think?
  4. I'm enjoying survival mode a lot so far, and I enjoy that fast travel is disabled for the most part. But then there are times I just want to get to a location and back quickly, and the daunting task of just running for 20 minutes really sours the experience. This is especially true for building Hearthfire homes and Goldenhills Plantation, where I'll frequently go to a city and back over and over just to get necessary resources. So, I'm wondering if it's possible to have a limited fast travel system. The ability to fast travel to any major city (including Raven Rock), faction locations (Fort Dawnguard, Brotherhood Sanctuary, Castle Volkihar, Sky Haven Temple, etc), and player homes (Goldenhills Plantation, Hendraheim, Heljarchen Hall, etc). Nothing else. No caves, no dungeons, no forts, not even the small towns like Riverwood or Ivarstead, though I can see that being a reasonable option. Is this possible for someone to make? Will the game even allow this to be done? This would make survival mode perfect for me.
  5. This is a little strange and minuscule, but all of my men with beards have been affected (except the stubble, since it's more like a tint) where their right sideburn juts out from the cheekbone: Mod list: Editing the cheekbone vertex that it's connected to DOES move it, and I'm just baffled as to how a mod could possibly do this. Obviously not intentionally, but I don't believe any mods should edit the mesh of the beards except maybe Enchanced Character Edit. Though scrolling through the posts nobody else is saying this is an issue for them.
  6. Good fix until the next SKSE64 update, thank you. But how would I go about redownloading the new .exe for Skyrim SE when SKSE64 is updated?
  7. Tried this, too. It made her assignable, but she wouldn't move and it wasn't assigning her to the Slog as a settler--couldn't trade (settler trading, not bartering) and the population didn't raise.
  8. Hopefully this is the right section to ask this, but is there a way to get Deirdre to function properly as a settler again after resurrecting/recycling her? Found her dead body south of the Slog by a couple of dead raiders. Resurrect makes her work as though it's your first time visiting the Slog; you can barter with her, but she isn't assigned to the Slog as a settler and so just stands at the Slog doing nothing. Same with the recycleactor command. She can't be assigned to work on food or as a trader, which sucks because I was hoping to assign her as a general merchant. Fast traveling away and back doesn't fix anything after using the commands, quicksaving/quickloading doesn't do anything either. I've seen guides on console commanding companions and spawned settlers and such to function as settlers, but NPCs like Deirdre are a rare enough case that I'm not sure what to do after they die. I haven't found anything regarding her or NPCs like her, so I'm hoping to get something here.
  9. There are a few follower tweak mods, but they all have these bells and whistles that I'm just not interested in. I just want my followers' levels to be uncapped. I don't care about tweaking every single bit about them or editing god knows what. Are there any that exist?
  10. I desperately miss SkyUI and Racemenu. I REALLY need to adjust my character's face polygon by polygon... And SkyUI is a f*#@ing godsend.
  11. I use this! It works brilliantly. So simple yet so effective at making my character not look like a walking mannequin.
  12. Thank you. Shame about SLFH but maybe a similar one will pop up eventually.
  13. I know one exists for the old Skyrim, but I'm struggling to find any hair retextures for Skyrim: Special Edition that are more suited to me. Bed Head just makes the hair far too rough for me. I want characters to look like they have access to water and brushes, but not conditioner, shampoo, curlers, and hairdryers like Apachii hairstyles. Bed Head is too rough, Apachii is too perfect. I guess I'm just picky. Would be nice to have something Superior Lore-Friendly Hair for SSE. But even new meshes that are just updates of Vanilla hair meshes would be amazing--they're really boxy looking.
  14. Thanks everyone, but I settled on using Tempered Skins for both men and women. Took a bit more digging to find them, though.
