  1. Haha, had to look it up. No way I'd still remember at this point so let me know if this doesn't work. The faction called "QNoDragonAbsorb" should prevent its members from doing the usual dragon soul absorb sequence. Not sure what you mean by "if it works on non-dragons". Obviously creatures that aren't dragons won't go through the dragon soul absorb sequence to begin with.
  2. I'm new to modding and so far I've managed to figure out how to make ammo a lot more expensive in the store. But now I'd also like to reduce/remove ammo that can be found off corpses and in chests. Could someone point me in the right direction? The only file I've found that comes even remotely close to what I want to do is the Small_Ammo_Pickup.xml file from entitylibrary.fcb.
  3. For me it asks me whether I want to 'Yes', 'Yes to All' or 'No'. However, the buttons show 'Yes', 'No' and 'Cancel' :) But no, I don't know, try something different from yes to all?
  4. Try Alt-A, which manually turns off/on the cell loading. Otherwise, just restart the kit? IDK Nice hills in the background, by the way.
  5. You want to output a message stating it's human or animal when you HIT someone? Hmmm, that sounds difficult. Especially considering the way Skyrim works around arrows. (Think about the archery killcam, it knows the shot will strike before it hits the target) So first of all, I think you'll find the solution a lot quicker if you make it output it when you fire, although not nearly as interesting. I'm in no position to look for the specific term you need to look for when finding scripts but try: HitArrowArchBowKillTry these as keywords when looking for scripts. Otherwise there are some general scripts that have conditions like: On DeathOn HitOn Combat StartWhen OpenedWhen EquippedWhen ActivatedWhen ReadSomething archery-related might be there as well. I understand this answer is far from helpful, but I fear the Skyrim modding community is in a deserted state and I myself am new to scripting.

  7. I have a letter delivered by the courier that activates a certain quest requiring you to kill someone. I placed this 'someone' in Hilgrund's Tomb, and disabled it by default. How do I make this reference enabled with the use of a script in the note's alias? I already set it so that reading the note advances to the 'kill guy' objective. Please help! I have no idea what I'm doing!
  8. There's this small mod I'm working on, and one of it's main dungeon rewards is the ability to summan a ghost-dragon. Problem is, when the 1min duration is over it disappears like normal, but a few moments you still get a dragon soul out of him. Does anyone know where or how to disable a specific dragon actor from giving you a soul in the Creation Kit? Help is really appreciated! Edit: Also, is there a condition I can set so the spell can only be used while in combat?
  9. Hey all! I'm quite new to both this community and modding Skyrim, and am currently working on my first 'test' mod. I was wondering if someone could help me with a scripting issue: The scenario I want to happen is as soon as actor "DSDragurDevourer" dies actor "EncDragon03Frost" takes it's place. But as you might have guessed, I have absolutely no idea on how to approach this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
