  1. There is fast travel already. Ferrystones and portcrystals. Did you not get that far yet? Place a portcrystal down in a given location, use a(n) (eternal) ferrystone. Boom, fast travel.
  2. You guys make it sound like the dodge is essential...it's not. Try using burst strike/blitz strike to close distances/get away from an attack. Or even sprinting. There are options, but the real problem is some people are too stubborn to use them. That said, I can see why this mod would be desired, and I think it should definitely be made.
  3. The head piece of these two sets use almost the same model. And it's ugly. The rest of each set look great, but this hood with its pigtails is driving me nuts. Could someone find a way to swap it with an appropriately colored Assassin's Mask? As in, somehow swap it and make the mask dark enough to match the rest of the Oblivion Set. Thanks!
  4. Just what the title says. I was wondering if it was possible to (with a SKSE plugin) find the mesh and texture used by a given object when you select it with the console open. This would make it MUCH easier for novices to make replacers for things, and possibly easier to find replacers for certain things as a result in the long term.
  5. Doesn't seem like much work has been done on the CK extender in these past ~2 years. Did shademe just give up? I see that there's been recent activity with the OB CS extender, but I've yet to see even a beta of the CK extender. I guess he just likes Oblivion more?
  6. You could install revenge of the enemies or something of that nature :P All you want is a version of "More thugs for petty thieves" with leveled thugs basically, right? I have no modding experience, but maybe this could help: http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=LeveledCharacter
  7. Can't you just take the eye texture and rename it to eyevampire01 and eyevampire02 and put them both with the rest of the eyes? I'm pretty sure it's that simple.
  8. I've been looking for a Realistic Teeth patch for Seranaholic with no success. I really don't want to give up either mod, either. The automated patcher doesn't seem to convert the facegen data properly. Is there someone with the skills to pull this off? I wouldn't even know where to begin. A patch for Mirai would be welcome too, as she has the same problem. Thanks!
  9. In response to post #37202095. #37208460, #37252135, #37393430 are all replies on the same post. Steam copies of all 3 or a mix of Steam and retail should be fine. They're exactly the same. Copies from other sites like GameSpot are encrypted, so you would have a problem.
  10. Same here, actually. It's only happening with some mountain rocks, and I don't know why. At first, I thought it was because of my parallax meshes/textures, but after I replaced my vivid landscapes meshes with SMIM meshes and deleted the parallax textures, the issue is still there. Supposedly it's caused by not following installation instructions closely enough for Vivid Landscapes, as mentioned here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/540737262441286928/ But I still can't seem to get rid of it.
  11. In response to post #37202095. Yes. If you don't own it, the installer will not let you play. This isn't anything new for them, they did it with Morroblivion too. If you use a cracked copy of either Morrowind, Skyrim, or both, Skywind will not work right, and people will either refuse to help you (in my case) or won't be able to help you, as cracked copies tend to have idiosyncrasies that make it hard to troubleshoot.
  12. In response to post #36417095. #36458210, #36566465, #36641935, #36645695, #36720205, #36734620, #36746815, #36750525, #36781000, #36793725, #36821010, #36871470, #36905040, #36937170, #36942190, #37032210, #37131710, #37165435 are all replies on the same post. I guess you guys are fairly new to the tesrenewal stuff, and probably new to TES modding in general. In the past, the devs for Morroblivion (same guys working on Skywind) made the installer check for a legitimate Morrowind installation folder. And even if you defeated the copy protection on the installer, things still wouldn't necessarily work right. Just please, stop being cheap, buy Morrowind GotY on Steam, it's only $20 USD. It's still enjoyable in its original state today, so it's win-win. And to those people saying, "But it's a SKYRIM mod!! We shouldn't have to buy another game to use it!!": This isn't your average Skyrim mod. This isn't even your average New Lands mod that is either incomplete/buggy or only 1/4th the size of Skyrim at most. Skywind will easily be bigger than Skyrim itself, at least worldspace wise. They're even talking about giving it its own executable and install folder, which is not something a normal mod would do. So please, stop whining, put the $20 down if you want to play it when it comes out. Get a job, or beg your parents. Just stop whining.
  13. I have yet to find an HD dragon replacer that's made from scratch. Everything I've seen (with a few exceptions) is poorly done upscales and filtered. The quality dragon retextures that I do find are only one or a few dragons. Can we get some love for one of the main attractions of Skyrim?
  14. I find SkyUI just as useful with a controller as I do with a mouse & keyboard, although some features such as the search aren't useable but I never used them with m&k anyway... Kinda defeats the purpose of SkyUI though...it was made for M&K, and you really don't gain much from using it with a controller.
