  1. @brairbrain That mod uses DLC textures, so it's not okay to port it. And Khajit187 allready showed us a link to an awesome FO3 mod. Well okay, it was first made for NV, but it's 100% original, so it was okay to port it to FO3.
  2. Two words : Them 'gators. It was one of the few things I wanted to see in PL, and was really disappointed when I didn't find any of them there. I don't know it you'd be able to do this, but if the answer is yes, please do.
  3. @BlackRampage If his father has so much say in the matter, I'd say he's rather young. And at that age, what dad tells is law. (for most people anyways) I would still go about it a nother way. Profanity filter ? Yes. Gore filter ? Oh yeah. It's not for children. A few changes in a small number of quests ? Yes, it is needed. But not a complete and utter (forgive me for saying this) castration. (people see worse things on the TV anyways) It would just take away the fun. If some modders would agree to these terms, there would be a big chance of finally getting a ''children friendly'' FO3 and that would enable a much larger number of players. I'm sure his dad would agree to his playing with the game with such a mod added. Am I right thedragurman ?
  4. You won't find ports here. Those are illegal. I've requested something similar that you want, but with one differance. I wanted someone to recreate them from scratch, because then it won't be illegal anymore. No such luck.
  5. I do approve of this idea, but I'll say it now. There's a lot of work to be done. This won't be a simple mod, and on occasions the modder(s) would need to modify hardcoded parts, or add things that were not taken into considaration while the developers made this game. If a (or more) talented modder(s) started to work on this mod, it would take months just for it to get out of alpha status, and a year tops (on top of those months) to make it into a fully funtionable mod. Don't want to break this for you, but there is little chance such a mod will be made. Sorry.
  6. You just said it yourself. "Owned" Owned is a mod that enables the player to own a lot of things. Through different ways, you'll be able to get other people's apartments and stuffs. One way is to buy them off, and the other is for cheap b*stards like me. Kill the previous owner. It's that simple. I hope this is what you've been looking for. Get the mod here.
  7. Porting original content from a game to a nother is illegal, and recreating it would be too much work and may not live up to the original. Maybe ask someone to send you the finished product (port) in pm or e-mail ? Or look up some instructions/training manuals on how the GECK works and port it yourself. I'm sorry for not being very helpful, but rules are rules.
  8. Yes, I know it. As I said I've sent a pm to SmileyTops, but after waiting for a reply for more than a month, I kinda got fed up and made this thread in hopes for a mod I really enjoyed while I played FO:NV.
  9. Just keeping this topic on 1st page, hoping someone will notice. Sorry for inconveniences caused.
  10. Hello there! I've contacted the mod's creator; SmileyTops in a private message, but he(?) didn't even read it. I don't know if he's(?) just not active now, or stopped modding alltogether. Anyways. What I'd like to get is a port of that awesome mod. Link to original mod I know that some parts can't be ported from the mod, like some outfits only available in FO:NV, so I won't ask for them. But everythng else, if plausible, please port them. Bring this awesome mod to FO3. Thanks in advance.
  11. It's more fun to turn on God mode for a short while and drop a HUGE amount of (all kinds of) mines arround them. Turn off God mode, get a good distance away, and swap to sniper rifle. Then proceed with a well placed shot and watch them fly in several opposing directions. Works like a charm. ;)
  12. From the limited info you've shared, it seems some mod is conflicting with a nother. Probably something that changes how facegen is working or the inner works of how the npcs/ characters look. Not sure though. I'm not a modder, just a hunch.
  13. Than self-disable some parts of the gun. (not modding, just don't use the parts you think are overkill)
  14. There are a few in the mod called "Mothership Zeta Crew" though you have to work quite a bit to reach the point when you can buy them.
  15. With using FOSE it would be possible in FO3. I'm just not sure how. Well, I hope someone picks this up, 'cause I think it's a good idea.
  16. Because you're a disturbed moron ? lol Anyways. Search FO3 nexus for "children of the wasteland" "enhanced children" "shojo race" (optional)or any body replacer you think your young character should look like. My motto for requests section: "Search first, ask questions later" I should really put this is my signature.
  17. Well, one would be the Underground Hideout and the Alpha-C-ev Underwater Home or the KORs Underwater Home. That's all the luxury vault-like homes I could find right now. There are more like these, out there. So just search them. Hope this helped you. ;)
  18. Would someone f'king read my comment ? Sorry about raging a little, but as I said, there are allready finished and good models for washing machines and dryers. They're only good looking containers for now, but as mentioned above me, adding a few scripts will fix them up for good. As for how to wash with them, it would be like this (I think): Put clothes, a box of detergent and 10 bottles of water in it. Power the machine with a portable fusion engine or if you have a lot, some energy ammo. Than wait half hour for the washing machine to finish. Than use the dryer, and there you have it. Clean clothes. Now you just need to wash yourself, 'cuz you smell like an ogre. But yeah, it's interesting you all talk about washing clothes, but not cleaninh the pc (player character)
  19. The mod DC Interiors had washing machines and dryers, they just didn't function. Maybe contact the author of that mod ?
  20. I do this: Once I reached level 29 I set my Unarmed (doesen't matter which skill, just fiddle with one you don't really use) skill to 20 by "player.forceav Unarmed 20" (without the ") and if I leveled up I just use "player.setlevel 29" Works like a charm, and it's not that big of a bother.
  21. Good idea, but what about this: You throw the skull at someone and he/she will freak out. Like ''OMFG what the hell is this freak throwing at me'' and then flee. It would be good to end unnecessary fights.
  22. A rusty/worn texture and a few wires sticking out at the side of the laser rifle (indicating that it was tempered with) would be enough to make it look unique. I second the idea. I'd like to see this happen too. In fact, why not do this (customizing) with all of the unique weapons ? New Vegas did this, it would work for FO3 just as much.
  23. o_O :hurr: Good one tnu. lol Jokes aside, it donesen't work for anything else either, like corpses, followers or furniture that is not replicated behind that glass wall, because it's not a true reflection. I've seen an example in the mod ''DC interiors'' There was a room with a few corpses and some molerats, but nothing was reflecter other than the furniture. I'm pretty sure that making a real mirror in FO3 is next to impossible, but I could be wrong. Who knows ? Someone just needs to prove me wrong.
  24. The closest any modder got to mirrors is replicating in the room you stand in behind glass, but that doesen't work for the character, only the room.
