Todays MoBo have very good, not the best, but very good video GPU and surround sound 5.1, 6.1 to 7.1 built in. ... CPU for the new games needs to exceed the 3.2 GHz Quadcore for best results, and should be no less then 3.4 GHz Quad core. Imo a CPU with 6 cores is a business machine style, 8 cores is really better for Power gamers. 3.2 to 3.4 GHz Quad cores are still my favorite. If you have a HD over 1TB it's likely a 7500 RPM.
