  1. Interesting fact: I added the clean pip-boy textures AFTER I picked up the pipboy. Loaded the save and it was all hazy, unusable. I loaded a game before the pipboy is picked up and tada: clean black as intended. Not sure what's causing this, just putting it out there in case someone encounters this hazing issue. Pippad does look awesome but it does not fit the lore (I think) so I decided to stick with the good old pipboy.
  2. I have the haze, too. I just started a new game and stuff is barely visible on screen. I read about display driver being the problem - I just got the latest one from NVidia (378.72), still having the issue. Removed the Clean Black Pip-boy mod thinking it'd change anything, but nothing. Not sure what else should I try. Here's the list of mods I installed so far. Anything suspicious? (I use LOOT to fix load order so I'd like to think that I am in the green with that.) Thank you! 3. Game was nice dark when I saved. Exited (had a break). Later on I started the game again, opened Steam overlay in main menu for a moment, closed it and loaded up the new game. Bang! All bright! Searched on Google, ended up here. Restarted the game and I did not open the Steam overlay this time. Still too bright! Disabled Steam overlay as a whole. All back to normal. Thanks for the tips!
  4. I am about to start a replay. Anyone tried Borderless Gaming? https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming I used it with other games. It cuts down the bars (which is ok) and then it stretches the image (which causes a little distortion). I can live with the small distortion, but I wonder about Fallout 3's stability. Any experience would be welcome. Thank you!
  5. That could be easily avoided by setting a min. download limit for mods to even show up; say, min. 1000. But that could be another filter, too ;-) The limit would be logical as people would be using this to get a list of mods that are popular - and mods that are downloaded only by a small group cannot possibly be popular. I'm sure you'll figure out a good value for the limit.
  6. Hi there, there are heaps of mods around and I have a hard time finding ones that are considered to be "good" by the majority. Sorting by 'Most endorsed' and 'Most downloaded' works, but it's pretty hard to judge what's really good from that. So, I thought I would ask you to add a new "SORT BY" type. The new type would be base on the endorsed/downloaded ratio (or, "%" if you multiply ratio by 100). IMHO, it would make more sense than any of the other methods because it would push back mods that are downloaded a lot but are not endorsed. Any chance of adding such a thing? If you have too much time at your hands, you could take it a step further, and add ranges (either manual number entries or checkboxes for pre-defined values like on Newegg). E.g. 0-5%, 5-10%, 10-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-85%, 85-95%, 95-100%, or something like that anyway, so I could look for a specific range. Thank you for considering!
  7. Hi there, I understand this it the right place to point out troubles with the site. It'd seem I cannot download files in Firefox at all - there are no links for the Normal servers - only for the Premium servers. IE works just fine. Here's what FF 25.0.1 looks like when I click on the manual download (no matter which mod): http://s15.postimg.org/t4d1gexx3/Firefox_Popup.jpg And here's what IE looks like (Firefox looked just like this a week or so ago) - for the exact same mod: http://s30.postimg.org/mo4w030sd/IE_Popup.jpg Is this on my end (suggestions to fix are welcome) or yours (anything I should submit to troubleshoot it)? Thank you!
  8. I read somewhere that it only happens while you are listening to a radio station. Are you listening to any radio stations when this happens?
  9. I am having the exact same problem with almost the same mod setup (I have FoSE, FOOK2 and the Fake Fullscreen Fix installed as well). The game crashes every time as I head towards the Super Duper Mart and it crashes at the same point every time. I can notice a bit stuttering just before the crash. I tried bUseThreadedAI=0 and I tried bUseThreadedAI=1 iNumHWThreads=1, 2, and 4 as well. The result is always the same. Did you find a solution to this problem? I cannot play the game as it is. Thank you!
