I gave Veronica the Q-35 for when we're outside and above ground. She's a Holy terror with that thing. For working inside and fighting at close quarters. Her power fist or even better the Pushy works best. Just make sure she's wearing the heaviest armor possible.

I found Three Dog a lot more entertain the I do Mr. New Vegas. Wayne's was great in his day and deserves the title Mr. Las Vegas. But the man is old and sounds like he just had a stroke or something. Plus him telling my male character ( i only play males ) that he loves him and the he's Mrs. New Vegas creeps me out. I think they should have hired an unknown voice actor to imitate a younger Wayne Newton. If they had to have a Wayne like character as the DJ. Would have saved Obsidian money and gotten a lot more DJ dialog out of the deal.

So basically, I can't use any of my records, CDs or MP3s. Because its all copyrighted material. I thought so, but it never hurts to ask. Thanks for the reply.

I'd like to do a radio station mod. I have tons of old Western Swing and Big Band music that I think would go well with New Vegas. What are the rules as far as what I can and can't use?

I was in the Navy for four years and compared to us the language used in game is mild. :laugh: Consider that polite society has been destroyed and how hard it is to survive in the wasteland. I think that the frequent use of expletives by the NPCs is pretty much how it would be if this were real.

Anyone else notice any of their post in the Bethesda Softworks forums mysteriously vanishing? I made a post in this thread. I said,"Never again buy and Obsidian game before there are numerous patches and fixes available for it." A bit of a jab yes, but not too bad. I didn't think so anyway. I come back to the thread a little while later and my post is gone. I've gotten no forum warnings or any kind of explanation. It just went "poof". So I posted it again and sure enough. Poofed a second time. I'd say there is some sanitizing going on over there. Anyone else seeing this or do I just need to get my tinfoil hat reinforced?

Invisible walls, I find those more annoying then anything else.

I see the mods are rolling in to New Vegas hot and heavy now. To all those who are working so hard to make the game more enjoyable for others. I say, while doing my best impression of The King. "Thank you, thank you very much."

I've been using an empty house in Goodspings as my home for about ten hours of game play. So far nothing has vanished.

Hey Gang, I think the music from the Conelrad Radio station mod would go a lot better with New Vegas. Then the not so good music that came with the game. So I'd like to use it. Will it be hard for me to get that to work? Any quick hints or tips?

Went to the Gamestop on Tuesday after work. They had it. I bought it. Should have waited. Too many bugs.

Only played for a couple of hours. For some reason its just not grabbing me like FO3 did.

Never pre-order, nor am I ever likely to. Snagged a copy on the way home from work. Old lady was a lil cross eyed when she saw the bag. But she'll get over it. Looks like its installing. :)
