Thanks for the reply! I tried disabling JKs Whiterun but no change. However, with the process of elimination I eventually found that the culprit was Warzones Civil Unrest v2015.1. I dug around in the comments for that mod and found that others are reporting similar issues with followers not spawning. I'm going to make a post there about it. I hope this helps anybody experiencing similar problems!

Hello everyone, Whenever I leave Whiterun with any follower, vanilla or otherwise, they will not spawn at the gate. If I use 'wait' they will then spawn next to my character but I'd rather not have to do this for immersion reasons. They seem to follow me into Whiterun itself without any problems though, and this bug seems to only happen when leaving Whiterun. As far as follower mods go, I don't believe they're at all intrusive. They are: -Followers can Relax -Sofia -Move it Dammit for NPC Companions and Followers there is also -JKs Whiterun Although, I've had this bug even when going with a minimal mod setup. Thanks for any advice!

For some reason whenever I set the texture detail to high the game has a tendency to crash about a minute later after I load a save. The strange thing is that when the game first came out I ran it with high texture detail with little problem, and certainly few if any crashes due to it, but that is not the case now. It's not as though the texture is putting a significant strain on the system, as the game runs smoothly and then it just suddenly crashes. Please, can anybody give me an explanation for this? My card is a Nvidia 9800 GT.

I was thinking of changing some of the music that plays in different areas of the game and found I could do that via the region editor, but whenever I click "region" from World->Region the GECK crashes. Is there something I have to do first or is something else wrong?

I had just finished talking to all the groups and got the Platinum Chip, and gave Yes Man the go ahead to get to the Lucky 38. However, every time I try to get into the penthouse to meet him the game crashes immediately after it finishes loading. Any advice?

That fixed it! Thanks for the help. I'm going to have to move the file every time at the end of the game, but that's a small price to pay.

Maybe it's hardcore mode? That seems to be the only constant so far. I'll try turning off hardcore mode and then try to play the ending. EDIT: No luck. Still crashes.

Sorry for late reply. Still having problem. I was following the "The House Always Wins" plot path.

I wasn't talking about if there was free-play after the main quest, what I meant was that the game crashes a few seconds into the ending movie. Sorry for the confusion.

Title. I finished the game earlier and everything goes smoothly until the ending movie sequence. It'll play for a few seconds and then I'll get a CTD. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
