Sorry - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Hi all - Apologies if this is a silly question, but I can't figure it out. I've downloaded a number of mods for MSFS (box version, not steam), I've extracted them into my Community file, and restarted the computer and the game. The mods are not showing up in the game at all. Help? Thanks!!!
